Some details on the new story, and something that I think may be worth the attention of some of you.
I noticed that the roster has 10 slots left. I hope that’s not final. They should at least add more slots as well.
I’ve felt the same for their fingers. They look very boxy/ hexagonal compared to the costume pieces/ textures. I think I’m being overly picky but the flesh should see the same attention to detail that the hair/ costumes receive
On the second story mode, I’d bet it’s a lot like shadow lab in ki, where you can ‘travel’ to fight other online created characters/avatars/shadows

So here’s my question for all of you.
What console will you be getting it for, and whats the first thing you are going to do?
For me it’s the Xbox One.
For me, the first thing I’m going to do is unlock Lizardman (heres hoping he gets revealed so I can buy the deluxe edition already) and then, I will stream the story when I play it for the first time.
PS4, and I usually check all the options and such, check the Create-a-Soul mode to see what gear is unlocked, and then go into Training mode to try out the characters, see what they can do and get a feel of the game. Then Story mode or Arcade mode.

I’ll be getting it on Xbox One. That’s the system in my entertainment center, while the PS4 is in my bedroom corner hutch. Plus, I just like XB1’s controller more (not to turn this in to a console war post lol, I like them both!)
As for the first thing I’ll do, I think I might just jump right in to the story. Usually you can earn something of value for playing a story mode, like a character or currency, and I’ll be curious to see what they do with the story. After that, if Cervantes is in the game, I’ll be trying to unlock him, for sure!

It would be impossible for them to not add Cervantes 
If it’s currency to unlock characters I’ll use that for Lizardman. I’m not surprised if Lizardman won’t be My first character to play in the game.

I pre-ordered for Xbox One. But if they reveal any console exclusive guests later I may regret that.
I wanna see all the SC characters like lizardman first before we get a new guest character. If I had to pick a guest character, it should be Jago from KI.
Omg PS4. It’s so superior in lots of ways & seem to do much better with PS4 as my fighting game controller
The only thing keeping me from not selling my xboxone now is Forza Horizon 3
I will definitely go to practice mode with default Ivy,
learn my habits & small nifty combos/ setups,
building up to hard cpu vs battles,
learn my wake ups and small combo/ reversals,
try to come up with a deadly combo-into-super finisher
then head to create a soul mode to attempt to flesh out my first few fave characters-
then maybe in a week or so join online matches.
If my theory is correct on the alternate story mode featuring created characters like shadow lab, I’ll probably spend most my time perfecting my avatars for offline fights with other PS4 owners
I don’t like there attitude towards crossplay.
Nuff said.

I had both, ultimately chose PS4 simply because I prefer it and the console’s exclusive titles.

No way. Spinal is the better choice. It’s like Geralt, where they don’t have to bend the rules of space and time to bring them there, he just existed back then.
