@MandrillManiac there were many stages are available, & selectable. they were all shown in e3 coverage. I only saw two blank stage icons.

I’m going to go on record and say at the moment, I love the soul charge animations the most in the new reveals!
I’m getting it for Xbox. I will be streaming the story when I start playing the story.

Who knows man. Hopefully we get to see some more cool stages too.
I really love the hillside stage, (the stage with flags and steps? ), and desert stage.
As always there will probably be night alternates such as geralt’s Stage & I haven’t seen any stages alluding to Ivy’s sanctorum yet
they said release was in october right? man i cant wait to dig in with ivys new skills and tools. im also looking at geralt, zas, and nightmare for my 4 picks. gonna be so fun!

Let me tell you what’s new & amazing with this iteration.
If you finish a round in certain actions, the CPU resolves and brings the win animation/ vox in a cinematic candy treat
Personally, I’ve not seen this before-
As we know most current games will ‘cut’ to a pre- animated clip, no matter where the character is, and some games have advanced by at least having left and right stage animated clips -
But at 2:00 taki win animation after her super is awesome, maybe I’m jumping the gen and this complete animation only runs when she does finish the round with a super, but it’s notably different from her reveal trailer outro animation, which I’ve also noticed all characters will have at LEAST three different intro&outro animations which is a stellar attention to detail

I hope we get a character reveal soon. I must know when Lizardman will be revealed so I can buy that Deluxe edition already.
Man, this game is gorgeous. Haven’t seen many of the stages until now and wow, just wow! Now I’m even more hyped for this game. Glad Max was able to stream it.
Question is, which stage goes to which character? (Besides the obvious)
I don’t think they have character-specific stages this time, considering there won’t be as many stages as there will be characters (if the selection screen is final).
Fair point, there. If it’s not final and they add more we can at least feel confident knowing that are favorites can make it regardless of number. Well that’s if they where present during the SC-1 to SC-3 timeline.
Come to think of it yes I felt a missing element with no stage for poison ivy or Starfire in imustice2 yet I the gameplay overrode most of the characters not having a home stage-
But it would have been awesome to see a stage modeled after Tamaran or Dr Isley’s Terranium
With those last 2 slots, I hope there’s either the ivy connection or the ship at sea if not, what I’ve seen so far is so amazing, I’ll be good without
I know the palgea/Kunpaektu shrine was there.. Perhaps maybe there are alternate stages? who knows.
After having seen Max’s stream (had to see the VOD in parts when I could, as I’m on vacation atm), I think the game looks absolutely beautiful. The stages are stunning, though some character models still need a bit of polish. Like, whenever Taki did her Critical Edge, her breast still looked jagged. You could count the polygons’ edges along it.
Those are minor things though, as overall I think it looks amazing.
The game is straight hype.
