You’re fully aware of this, so either you’re trolling now, or you’re trying to double down on an argument that you have to know is faulty at best.

Uh…yeah. Sort of how people wait a year to get the whole season for “free” with gold. Or how people wait until the Holiday Season to get a good sale price. Or [insert scenario X here]…
Bottom line, if you want the character now, get it.
not everyone is aware though, its false advertisement. You are the one who is wrong, when you buy something, it is the job of the seller to properly communicate what you are purchasing, the store page doesn’t do that.
But I can’t buy just the character without anything extra to artificially inflate his price.

I said it the stream thread, but the important consideration is that in community funding things, the good ones like dota ,aside from being cosmetic, also give you the same value as what you pay for. You get the value out of it while also helping fund whatever prizepool. You don’t make a pure donation so that you can buy content.
I honestly don’t know what you are complaining about anymore. Some characters are just premium buys. Look at Arbiter…who is still $10 today.
Its stupid for arbiter too. A single character shouldn’t cost a fourth of the entire price of the full game.

This is what I was talking to you about. Did you watch the stream? They said it there. They said it on twitter. It’s FACT. You stating they’re not offering the donation part is wrong. You want to talk about misleading fans, go for it. I think the donation part should be in the description too. I don’t personally care that it’s not, but I never disagreed with you there. But that’s completely separate from what we were talking about, which is what they’re actually offering and you know what they’re actually offering so stop acting like you don’t and moving the goal posts just because you can’t accept the fact that you’re wrong. Im not wrong. They inflated the price to take a donation, if they want donations, make it a donation, not a reason to charge more for something, its wrong.
Oh the donation part should def be in the descrip, but I think the outrage over it not at the moment is a little high. Hey MS add it to the descrip!
