Wait until you get to 90%. I did four 50 day runs, and did not unlock a single one. The wierd thing is that I got all the Omen dossiers within 3 hours of the beta. Omen was the first character I had that had 100% of the dossiers. My problem is Jago, TJ, and Kan Ra. Just those 3 is shorting me almost 20 dossiers.
It is just so strange that one person can collect a set of character dossiers with no problem, but can’t get another character’s dossiers for anything, then another person is just the opposite.
@developers Would you please consider looking at this issue, or explain what we are doing wrong.
how i can get kilgore dossiers i just have 2
and i have done 82% overall and i have all world dossiers except mask of the ancients
so if you can help me i’ll be thankful
I could be wrong, but I believe @rukizzel said he was going to look in to this, since there are no mimic Kilgores to fight and get dossiers from. The only way anyone has been getting them currently is by being lucky enough to fight a shadow Kilgore AND be further lucky enough to get a dossier drop out of him. I’ve fought about five shadow Kilgores and none of them have dropped any dossiers.
Yeah I brought that up to @rukizzel. I’ve gotten like 2 Kilgore dossiers I think, and I don’t even think they came from shadows. I got them from the hot lead mission way back when…

The character dossier drop has slowed to a crawl. I can’t remember the last time I got an Omen dossier. I mean, I get that it’s nice to extend the rewards out as long as possible and you want to keep people playing and what not, but good lord, at some point, they stop being fun side rewards and frustration sets in, especially if you’re specifically grinding to get those dossiers.
Just shoot for the 90% for now. Currently it is not possible to get 100%. At least one dossier is bugged, I think more are as well, but that is just me.
What I find upsetting is that there is a chance that when the other 2 characters are released that we will have this dossier problem all over again.
Well, Rukari didn’t seem to be aware that people weren’t getting Kilgore dossiers, which makes me wonder if he knew that there are no Kilgore mimics in the game. He said that the character is 100% out there in the wild, so to speak, so I also wonder if not having Kilgore mimics to fight against is a bug.
I think that one of the IG staff should try and get 100%, then they might see that there is a drop issue. Like in your case, you should have gotten the Omen dossiers by now. I assume that you have fought Omen over 200 times by now. That is a little much for a character that has 4 or 5 dossiers.
The dossiers should have been setup so that when you have done enough matches to unlock the mimmic skin, you would also have unlocked the dossiers for that character. If by chance you don’t have them all unlocked by the time you unlock the mimmic skin, the drop rate changes to 100% for that character.
That would be nice. It doesn’t even have to be 1:1 either, but honestly, I’ve fought so many Omens and the drop rate is insanely low to the point where I don’t think it’s crazy to assume it’s a bug.
Thanks a TON for this! I’ve played it a few times and while it’s only dropped one Omen dossier, that’s one more than I had before, so this looks like the way to get them. Much appreciated!!
After the first Omen dossier, I got one from a Shadow Omen, one from the Jago mission, and one from the Omen mission. Never from one of the normal Omen fights for Gargos powers, and there was like a month in between each of those acquisitions.
FWIW, I’ve done that “Shadow Within” Jago mission against Omen ten times since that was posted and it’s dropped an Omen dossier twice.
I’ve also done one called Shadow Puppeteer (not the one against Gargos, the one against two Omens) a bunch of times and while it hasn’t given me any Omen dossiers, I’m guessing it will at some point.
I’ve been using Captain Spinal to try and use the mask of the ancients on his mask of the ancients mission in hopes of getting that dossier, but Jago will still get Shadow Within mission even if he’s not your captain, same goes for Omen and Shadow Puppeteer. So I use those two as my second and third to try and farm Omen dossiers.
I’m currently at 97% and these are all I need besides Kilgore’s.
