I was never a fan of infinities. If I was developing fighting games, infinities would never be added.
I don’t think they did it on purpose.
Lol. They definitely didn’t do it on purpose :-p
Sidenote: I think the way NRS handled brutalities in this one was a real mistake. The “have to unlock” thing means you never really get to see the vast majority of them.
I might reinstall. Idk know when tho
Wow. It’s amazing how little this guy was able to say or add to the conversation in that video. I would love for MK11 to get the Tekken 7 treatment and go on for many years. But the problem with that is two-fold. Injustice 3 is gonna be in the pipeline for 2021. It’s gonna be a WB mandate. And next gen is right around the corner. Even with backwards compatibility i doubt they will still be able to keep up the sales of a last gen game. Meaning DLC won’t sell as much as it would.
Well, we don’t know what WB mandates or doesn’t mandate. I have a somewhat hard time believing they would order NRS to make another Injustice game, but who knows.
As for DLC… I don’t think it’ll get the Tekken 7 treatment for the same reason you outline above. The likelihood that they support this game a few years in to next gen seems minimal, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they supported it in to 2021; at least through the release of the movie. I could see KP1 finishing up and KP2 coming out in its entirety along with a few stages, some classic outfits, etc in 2020 along with some other play variation for towers of time.
Then, I dunno… Maybe they do a KP for characters that are in the movie that haven’t made it in to the game yet? Maybe they get the actors who play those characters to reprise their roles as well. So far Mileena and Nitara have been cast, so add in four others that didn’t make the cut in the game and there ya go. That could be a pretty awesome way to finish up the MK11 post release content.
Hi
is Sindel out yet?
Tuesday I believe for Season pass holders
Thank you
Why wouldn’t they? The first two sold really well and a lot of people really like it. They have a solid franchise on their hands. So why not do more installments.
And hey, if they get tired of the whole “evil superman” plot line they could always go with another story rout in another alternative universe. That’s the beauty of working with DC as a property.
Also, if KP1 was anything to go by, we won’t get KP2 all at once in 2020. They’re gonna stagger release like the first one if any come out in 2020. If they’re all coming at once it will take them till mid-early 2021.
You know, if and when Ash gets in MK11, they gotta add a Bruce Campbell Announcer. I will pay extra for that.
Why wouldn’t they force NRS to make a game? Well, that doesn’t always go over well when I studio’s restricted in such a way after having a certian level of autonomy. WB has given Rocksteady what, four years to work on whatever they’re working on? We still don’t even know what it is yet, much less when its coming. If they’re going to give Rocksteady that kind of leeway, and NRS has likely made a ton of money for WB as well, it kinda stands to reason that they’ll let NRS work on whatever they want (within reason), so long as it does well.
Ok then. I’ll ask the followup question then. Why wouldn’t NRS want to make another Injstice game? They clearly have a lot of passion for DC and it’s characters. And again, Injustice gets a lot of praise and sales.
Hey guys…this Thanks giving tower is easy and you can rack up a ton of cool skins and gear. Jus tmake sure you pick the right character for what you want skins for. Also always rematch under Brutal dificulty to get extra skins.
Im doing all 4 towers with Sindel and IM liking her alot…evne though I’m super rusty and haven’t played since the week erminator dropped… Im liking her way better that Terminator and Shang Tsung. Nightwolf and Sindel…thumbs up!
@R1stormrider And oh man her sexy outfit “Deserving Sovereign”..whooo …they did awesome on that one!
Her air dash is awesome! Man …top players are going to be mixing up people left n right with her!
Well, I never said that NRS wouldn’t make another Injustice game, I just said that I doubt WB would force them to do it given how we’ve seen the way Rocksteady has had all the time in the world to make whatever it is they’re working on. Maybe it’s a new Batman game, maybe it’s a Justice League game, maybe it’s something completely different. I’m sure if WB had their way, it’d be a new Arkham game, but just from an outsiders perspective, it doesn’t seem as though that’ll be the case.
As for NRS, Boon as spoken about the idea of working on something completely new before; something that’s not even a fighting game. Maybe he was just thinking out loud, who knows. But NRS is a talented studio and after making several fighting games, maybe they want to make something different. Maybe they want to try their hands at Shaolin Monks 2. Maybe they want to make a Mortal Kombat adventure game. Maybe they want to take on a DC property in non-fighting game capacity. Or maybe they want to build a new franchise that’s related to neither properties.
Does it seem most likely that they’ll do Injustice 3 after MK11? I’d say so. But there are an infinite number of directions they could go in. Maybe they want to do a DC fighting game and not be tied to Injustice and the story lines they’ve developed. Hell maybe they want to develop the next Arkham game. Highly unlikely, I’ll concede (and I feel like the team that did Arkham Origins hinted that they might be developing the next Arkham game on Twitter, but I could be totally wrong).
But yeah, all of those things are reasons why they might not make Injustice 3.
Yeah I messed around with her combo variation and her projectile variation for a little bit last night. I like her too. It kinda sucks that her combo variation doesn’t have any projectiles, but she still has nice mid-range reach at least, even though I can absolutely see myself getting zoned out by some of the better zoners in the game.
That’s the strange thing with MK11. It always feels as though each variation is missing something that I’d like the character to have. If Sindel had a standard high fireball across all variations, I’d like her a lot more, but even as it stands, she’s still a lot of fun to use. Looking forward to learning her second variation and getting better with her other two.
Also, her all around design is fantastic. Her look, her outfits, her voice, all top notch as far as I’m concerned. I wanted to like Shang Tsung a lot, but his styles just didn’t really click with me. I’d say she’s my favorite DLC character so far and I’m not even much of a Sindel fan. Great job, NRS!
Totally agree..especially for my 2 mains Kano and Kabal. I like my variation IMade better which is just 1 move different than the tournament variations
Turns out Sindel “does” have a Kuan Dao in MK11. It’s called Kwan Dao.
Tip: All Five Stages of one of the Character Towers can be done in a day.
Oh Mortal Kombat 11 content creators on YouTube…REJOICE!!!
