And I finally unlocked this puzzle. I don’t have a single door in the Krypt that hasn’t been unlocked now to my knowledge. I’ve unlocked every chest that requires hearts so I expect for them to be useless now unless I use them for a character tower. I’m beyond sick of “re-stocking” chest in the krypt so I feel I’m getting close to saying adios to it since I’ve done all the severed heads. lol I seem to get more garbage than anything I actually care for. The only skin I don’t have that I’d like to own is Liu Kang’s. I’m currently on stage 13 of the gauntlet. Only 17 more stages. The grind is real. lol

I feel the same way. His chances are slim.
This is something that I wonder if NRS will address going forward. It’s kinda strange to me that they would have a currency that you continue to accrue through playing that becomes utterly useless within a month or two of relatively steady gameplay.
Although my guess is that hearts will simply become useless, I’m really hoping they’ll add more heart chests to the krypt and perhaps add new skins that can be unlocked with hearts in the in-game store (to go with what you can purchase with crystals).
Wow, really? I don’t even have one done yet. I was mostly doing brutalities before because you get more hearts. How do you know when you’ve done enough fatalities on opponents to get their head? Do heads just show up as items you’ve unlocked after a match? Either way, good job!
Also, major props on completing that puzzle. I still need Shinnok’s amulet and (of course) Cetrion’s amulet. I feel like I play a decent amount, yet I still seem to have so much left to do.
HOLY CRAP there’s 30 stages?? I’m on stage 9 right now and just assumed I was close to done. Dayum.
Yeah I really enjoyed the first MK movie and I’d still put it up near the top of video game movies. It just seems to me as though there’s a bit of a shift toward taking video game and comic type properties a bit more seriously and having a bit more nuance to the characters and the story and what not.
I just figure since so many fans feel that the gore is an integral part of the series, they’d at least attempt to put some of that in the movie as well. Of course, if they don’t, I wouldn’t mind it in the least.

After the last update, I believe you need 25 heads, 50 was the previous number. Brutalities also works to get heads. You get a ingame alert when you get a head after a match, similar to a level up

Really? I’ve been playing this game for a couple hours just about each day since it’s come out and I almost always end each match with either a fatality or brutality. The fact that I don’t even have one head yet seems really strange now. Any chance it’s bugged?

Nah, its fine, I’m the same as you and I only have Cetrion’s because I restarted a tower with her several times to farm it.
You are surely close to unlock 3/4 heads in no time, it’s a pain you can’t check what ones

Yeah it’s weird that they didn’t at least put a number or something above each statue face in the krypt to tell you how close you are. Either way, hopefully you’re right and I get a few of them soon. Thanks for the info on the head count, man! Much appreciated.

I just figured out you can use consumables in the Krypt to help you achieve speed, extra coins, cheaper chests, …and spiders not attacking! Ugh… way too late to just now find out LOL…Im halfway done or more!
I found Reptile though! Cool! I really wish Reptile was in the game…the more I play it the more it feels something is missing without Reptile, Ermac, and some of the others from X.

Best bet to start getting good stuff like gear and skins is to try your hand at the Shrine and give gold to it. That’s the only way to get specific items and such, like the maskless gear sets for some characters like Kitana and Skarlet.
I think it’s 75,000 Koins for 2 Gear pieces and 100,000 for a Skin or 2 if I recall correctly!

I actually feel relieved. Those three are in every game. The fact that so many characters are in this game who don’t usually get much spotlight. I love it.
That’s how it felt without Sindel or Jade last game.
Yeah @Dayv0 and @Iago407 I finish every match with a brutality or fatality and so far I have zero heads - despite having finished last week in the top 5% tower rewards. I actually don’t mind having sort of “long term” rewards like this but not being able to see your progress is pretty lame.
Is it only towers where the fatalities count towards heads?

I agree, I have a feeling that leaving Reptile out was a huge bummer. Practically the biggest disappointment overall.

I have a few things Im curious about or feel should be readily available more quickly than it currently is…
I think the intros and outros should be more available than they are. i only have 1 character with a 2nd intro and outro. Have all 8 unlocked really makes the game feel s less stale. As much as Ive played all areas of the game I thought I would have already had tons of these cinematics unlocked…but I only have 2.
I wonder why you can’t grab your opponent out of the air on their way down from a combo like you used to be able to do in X and in KI? Kind of sucks you can’t tac that on anymore.
Also anyone notice the Fatality sound glitch? The music doesn’t play when the Fatality is activated, only the sound effects.
So far out of all the characters Ive played long enough to get a good feel of…I believe Kabal is the overall best “made” character. He has 2 great Fatalities, great look and gear… all his moves are pretty much useful. I wish his voice was a lil more menacing…but its not horrible.
