the upcomin MK movie could be first of a few, it may turn into a trilogy depending how things go.
Honestly, Kotal’s one of my least favorite characters and I did not like Jax’s direction in 11. I kind of just want an action filled popcorn flick. After Endgame, I’m burnt out on cinematic sadness.
I’m sticking with Liu Kang for awhile, I like what they did with him in this game.

I think i’ll keep my expectations low for this movie so I can enjoy it more, in the mean time I’ll just keep my hype going for the movie that’s been #1 on my list GODZILLA King of the monsters! But that’s a topic for another time. Anyway, Is there anything you’d guys like to see in the movie happen?

I just want decent action with cool characters and powers. The story of the first game too.

Yeah, I’m kinda the same.
To be honest though, I don’t exactly have high hopes for it myself. Maybe I’m just still thinking of the curse of game-based movies. From what I 've been hearing Detective Pikachu seems to be breaking that curse, but still even with several examples out there of what happens when Hollywood respects the source material of any sort (games, comic books, books, cartoons, etc) and just tells a good story…movies get made like Sonic the Hedgehog seems to be shaping up instead.
One of the youtube GOT channels I watch is asking for someone to create the Hound vs Mountain with the Star Wars Duel of fates music and editing. lol…IM sure that will be popping up soon too!

-shrug- I dunno, the first MK movie is absolutely beloved, and it had no gore of any kind. I could do without it in whatever new movie pretty easily, and I don’t think I’m alone there.
On the GoT stuff, I’m not current on it right now, so if we could stop putting all these spoilers in the MK thread I’d be pretty happy

honestly, id trade gore for amazing martial arts fight scenes in a MK movie. theres plenty of talent to facilitate that, but lets see what they do and who they go with. i remember the MK tv show having some really legit fight scenes back in the day. i used to watch it after WCW monday nitro

I would love it if we just got an update and they were made playable. I love my robo boys. But if they’re two of the season pass characters, even I would get mad. That’s not nearly enough variety.
Indeed, I’d love to see others become playable too. But it looks like repeats is irrelevant now. So maybe hope for Rain?

Sakruai pretty much spoiled me. lol Anyway, do you think this could mean Rain might be DLC? I’d ask this question sense Sektor, Cyrax, Smoke, and Cyber-Sub-zero Were both DLC in the form of Triborg. So Rain might have a chance now. A small window of one, but a chance non the less.
I personally don’t think Rain has a high chance. But I could easily be wrong.
