Deffo Gargos and Shago go to the top of my list. I almost got perfected off the both of them just now including an almost 100% combo into ultimate.
The high/low game from Shago was obscene and his dash into auto corrected DP crossup is so non-reactable. So dirty.
As for Gargos, his thin pokey minion is all he needs to win against Sadira as she has no way in on him while the minion is out. Also, why allow the summon to crossup? What were they thinking?
I guess some characters just need to have not just tools but a whole shed of tool boxes.
I think the characters I have the hardest time with no matter who I pick seem to be Rash, Sadira, Gargos, and sometimes Omen or Kim Wu. Although I have recently been taught to respect Aganos and Tusk a little more than I was before, lol.
Riptor by far. Once she gets in which is very easy, the pressure makes me crack😓Recently learned a lot of her setups are shadow counterable but then there is the issue of that darn tail flip😥
Glacius - I can’t react to shatter and I hate his projectiles
Shadow jago - did he do a crossup invisible dash? Good luck trying to figure out if the follow-up is a grab, a dp, or a divekick that could come from both sides. Wish I could use a option select to deal with this
Not really. Gargos’ portal punches and minions do crap for damage on block. Wait until he makes a mistake, tries to move in, or an opportunity presents itself to hit a minion. Remember, you’ll eventually build shadow meter, and that can help.
i hear you but its easier said that done. when gargos players are in that position they rarely try to move in. and spam portal punches from full screen. so if i try to jab a minion, they trade and open up a portal punch combo. not complaining though, my tactic against gargos is to not let him get to that position (pretty befitting considering the shadow lords mode - “you cannot stop gargos from coming, but you can control how strong he is when he comes” im paraphrasing the intro lol)
