Along with the Spirit Trials and the Spirit Shrines challenges?

Ive only done two of each of those so Far… man the Combat is so in depth now Im hoping for some Bloody Palace Style Mode DLC… I genuinely think it could work. Maybe even throw in a Fancy Red Coat Ori can wear just to Rub it in even more. ![]()
- Or a ninja warrior outfit for Ori

- Bring on Ori 3 AND make it happen too, Moon Studios

- Ori as a new potential guest character for an all-new Killer Instinct game

- The visuals AND graphics are even better and even more gorgeous than in Ori and the Blind Forest?
1-3 YES TO ALL OF THEM !!!
4. Indeed they are… there seems to be great since of 3 dimensional space now, the camera really highlights this with these very subtle pans and pivets. took me a while to notice it because the aesthetic is just really good over all. actually, everything just looks and feels good… great even.
Do they look more realistic and life-like even?
Hard to say if some Fictional Landscape can look more Realistic but theres definitely alot more Detail and Definition… Some parts of the Terrain or its Props that Ori can Stand also React… for Example I stood on this Weird Mushroom thing and it Jiggled. It caught me by surprise because I thought it was related to some sort of Puzzle or mechanic since in the first game it was rare to see something animate that much unless it served some Mechanical Purpose… but in Will Of The Wisps its not uncommon to see The Environment React just for Reaction’s Sake… which is Berry Nice.
I’m still very early in Ori, but it is indeed a beautiful game.
I’ve been working on US, German, and Finland armies for my sci-fi WWII game, dwarves (and soon werewolf gypsys) for a fantasy ranked combat game, power armored soldiers for Infinity, and occasionally my Blood Bowl team. I have a lot of projects going at once. Luckily with all the pandemic stuff going on I have lots I can make progress on.
I’ll share some more pictures one of these days.
I’ve been playing a lot of GBVS. Was playing it consistently at our locals, and since a fair amount of folks in the city picked it up on Steam I decided to as well.
The netcode is standard ASW delay-based netcode (ie it sucks), but since Singapore is so small can manage pretty ok within its lobby. Ranked is a ■■■■■■■■■ but that’s pretty much what I expected so no surprise there ![]()
Started playing DOOM Eternal. Best way I can describe it so far is DOOM 2016 cranked up to 11.
I’ve been watching Max’s playthrough. Game’s ridiculously intense o_O
I didnt finish WIll of wisps? WHere did I say that?
No I did not finish Nioh 1…Im right at the last 2 missions. I dont play PS4 often so gaps between Xbox and PS leave me with unfinished Nioh, Horizon, God of War, ect…
Covid-19 boosting my available playing time:
Phantasy Star Online 2
Nioh 2
SamSho
Granblue
Guns, Gore, Cannoli
Playing all of these quite a bit.
Oh… My Bad… I jumped the gun on that one. and wow… thats quite the list of unfinished games. ![]()
I finished Will Of The Wisps Yesterday
… Apparently theres an Achievement for beating the game in less than 4 Hours.
Edit:
So I managed to Sequence Break Ori and The Will Of The Wisps… It was pretty Funny clearing an Entire Area missing the Very Ability you need to enter Said area in the First Place…
Anyway, That got me thinking, since Will Of The Wisps Borrows so many Influences from Hollow Knight, I figure I would Punish Myself by playing it again… Atleast this time There wont be any Surprises. I know all Your Tricks, Hollow Nest !! ![]()
I have hollow knight… I never played it though.. its good? MY favoirte of all these games though is Salt and Sanctuary. Such a great game!
I Personally Don’t Like it but if you did enjoy Salt and Sanctuary then I do believe Hollow Knight will far exceed your Expectations. I’m pretty sure its Regarded as a Classic!!! That being said, Its Long, well… Technically its only as long as how much time you put in to it seeing that it has 4 “Stages” Of Endings. Going for the Bare minimum shouldnt take more than a Weekend. Going for the Coverted 112% Completion (Yes, Thats a Legit Statistic in the Game) might take a while… it took Dan (Extra Credits/Play Frame) a Few Months to Complete.
I myself am 10 Hours in and I’m almost at the Point where I Rage Quited on my Previous Playthrough, which was 40 Hour in.
and Last But not least, Theres no Shame in Looking up a Walkthrough if you get stuck (I mean Really Really Stuck, not just the usual Run of the mill Stuck), this game is even more “Obtuse” Than Dark Souls was. Remember Ash Lake ? Yeah theres like 7 Areas in Hollow Knight that are Hidden Like That.
oh and one more Tip, use your Markers. Just buy all 5 of them and use them on anything that looks Conspicuous.
I finished up Halo 3 in Halo: The Master Chief Collection. That’s the original trilogy now done.
I started up Doom 3: The Lost Mission last night, which I’ve never played before. I also got back into my playthrough of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind - Game of the Year Edition, after an eleven month break.
I have hollow knight on Switch. It’s got a lot going for it but I find the aesthetic creepy and unappealing. So although I’ve made it pretty far I’m just not compelled to return because I don’t especially care to find out what comes next in the game.
Ori has some similarities but is actually pleasant to look at and gives you some emotional connection to the characters.
Really ? Hmmm… I thought everyone liked the way it looked. I my self just don’t like the way the game Controls, Its far too Rigid, doesn’t have alot of the subtle Features that other Platformers Have (You know, Coyote Time, Consistent Buffering, some Semblance of Momentum, etc).
The other thing I don’t like is how many instances where The Developers chose to make the game more Difficult Rather than make it more Interesting. You can see this especially in the Charms, They were afraid some of them would be too Powerful so they Held back rather than Doubling down on them… Compared to Will Of The Wisp’s Shards they just lack alot of Creativity.
in any Case, Im almost at The White Palace, soooooo… Yeah… thats going to be “Fun”
.
Edit: Nailed It
!!!
Now I just gotta Round Up the Rest of The Charms, Complete that stupid Flower Quest and then I can Beat the Boss(es) then I can put this Experience behind me.
Tried out Power Ranger: Battle for the Grid in Gamepass. I’m really impressed. I’m not a fan of the IP - I was a little to old for Power Rangers when it first appeared in the US. But the game is exactly what I would want in an approachable fighting game - no crazy and unnecessary motion controls for special moves but a great variety in the roster and some decent depth to the game and the fighting system. Is it the greatest fighter of all time? No, but my son is able to pick it up and play and then immediately start identifying some higher level FG concepts like meaties and +/- frames on block because he’s not struggling to see if he can do a fireball.
