Anyone play Detroit Become Human?? WOW! Its great! I had played the demo upon release but now that I have the full game …(got it last week for 7$ on PSstore) I’m really enjoying it!

Its like playing a movie… you make choices and it unfolds into different scenarios and endings…made by the same team that made Heavy Rain, Beyond Two Souls and I think Soma? ANyways… its really realistic. Its about cyborgs as human helpers/ servants but becoming sentient or “Human”… its set in Detroit as if its the new version of the city making “cyborgs” just like in the 80s they made “Cars”… Im really enjoying it.

Any word on the quality of the Switch version? I have a feeling that’s where I would get the most bang for my buck. But if it’s a lesser version I might shell out for Xbox.
its not out yet on switch until this week, so i havent heard anything yet. itll be lower resolution on the handheld for sure, but if its getting really good fps rates it should be fine. even on pc it doesnt look like a hardcore graphic intensive game, but it is pretty to see. having this thing on the go would definitely be handy speaking from a gameplay point of view

Yeah, the ability to travel with it but also put it up on the big tv is too good to pass up - as long as it’s a decent version of the game. I might just take the risk.
yeah, best bet watch vids of it and go from there. meanwhile praise for igas work is going around on social media. bloodstained is a success story for kickstarted games, hopefully more continue to be made

Because I am a reckless daredevil I went ahead and preordered it. It’s downloaded but it’s touch and go whether the internet here will function to let me unlock the game prior to my flight tomorrow evening (9am EDT Tuesday). Should be okay but I like to live dangerously.

I preordered it on Switch as well.
Well it’s good to hear that Bloodstained is actually good; while I didn’t despise MN9 like so many did (there are worse Mega Man games in existence) it was still good to see a crowdfunded game not end up like that one.
Speaking of despise I bought Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back for $5 on PSN just to see how bad it truly was. Considering it was made by the same developer as Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams I expected at least something functional, which is what I got. Only problem is that it’s too short; like the Owlverlord DLC for the Giana Sisters game, the main story can be beaten in about an hour if you’re decent at platformers. Still, it was nice to see Black Forest Games at least tried to make Bubsy work, though I still feel Accolade strangled their budget.
On that note, PS4 had a flash sale (it will end in a few hours if it hasn’t already) where a myriad of games were on sale. Got Slain!, the Disney Afternoon Collection, and Hard Reset Redux all for about $11 (not counting sales tax). I also bought Abyss Odyssey for about $8 on a separate sale. Also I found out Brawlhalla added Hellboy and Adventure Time characters, so I messed around with that for a while.
…And yet Steam hasn’t started their summer sale. Still waiting for that to happen later this summer.
i think you’re going to enjoy it, its got 13 free DLCs to go with it as well. the castle is pretty big to explore, and you can have many styles of combat to choose from depending on what set ups you create. i got close and medium ranged melee, and a gun build. pretty neat stuff

I just watched a really cool clip where a girl character is playing a guitar and flames are shooting out of the head. then another character is on the other end of the screen and here is a monster in between them. Not sure what was happening but she was rocking a killer solo!

Early Switch impressions for Bloodstained aren’t great from what I’m hearing. On top of the lower performance/res specs and longer loads, apparently the game gets worse and dips harder as you progress through the game, regardless of docked or handheld. Load screens, input lag, regular crashing, etc.
Not a great situation, but it does make me feel better that I caved and got it on Steam a few days ago. Recently beat the demon train and got the beam-teleport ability. Also the shard ability I got from the Twin Dragons is super broke and let me melt the next few bosses in around 15 seconds. Overall the game is pretty good so far; presentation is janky and there’s a few small bugs, but it plays great and delivers everything you’d expect from a Castlevania experience.

sounds like its going to need patching to squeeze more performance out of it. nothing out of the ordinary, i recall zelda having FPS dives in many parts of the game when it first came out.
I just got Samurai shodown on PS4. THe season pass is free up until the 30th of june. I had originally preordered it on XBox one but it didnt come in so i got PS4 instead. No biggy… Ive been playing PS4 the last 2 weeks mainly anyways so this works for me.
Loading it up now… will see how good it is later.
So the Steam Summer Sale finally started yesterday, and this time around their event game lets you get a coupon that discounts $5 off any purchase (on top of any discounts from the summer sale itself). Also you can just buy the summer badge or emoticons with the same event currency.
Assuming I can get the 15,000 points in time (summer sale ends on July 8th) I might use that to get the Turok games (since with the coupon it would cost about $3.50 instead of $8). But for now I bought Forsaken, which is basically Descent meets Quake. The remaster runs surprisingly well on low-end systems.
Well, I was about to say we should get some games in, but you Dark Souls 3’d me.

Call me crazy, but I just expected the Switch version wouldn’t look as good as the Xbox or PlayStation version. I’ve been playing for just over 3 hours and I have no complaints about the performance. We’ll see if anything changes.
The game is awesome in my opinion. What do you think?
