Virtua Fighter 6 Petition (Reached 1000 Signatures)

That actually looks really good. When I had typed in VF in youtube I saw stuff that did not look interesting at all. Is that music from VF?

I admit I was never much of a fan of 3D fighters I only like 2D for the most part. I think tekken was the only 3D fighter I ever liked but I never played VF

Music in Virtua Fighter is godlike, just listen the music from VF2, VF3, or VF5FS.

Best music of fighting games by far.

This is my Favorite Character select them in the VIrtua Fighter Series

wow the music sounds really good in this game. For some reason I didn’t like how VF5 looked at all.

I am not a fan of bright stuff in fighting games, if they make VF with artwork like Tekken 7 I think I would eat it up. I like Tekken 7’s darker and slightly gritty art this is the primary reason I hate janapese anime games too bright. I like western style like KI and MKX, street fighter is one of the few japanese anime I really like but then thats because technically speaking SF was never a Japanese anime game it was always a world warrior game

Did you watch the videos of Kage and Akira already posted in this thread ?

But Virtua Fighter 5 is getting old now that’s why, but gameplay and animations are still better than Tekken 7, and it just shows how VF is great again.

Having a 3 button game does not make it more simple than a 6 button game. There’s many different techniques, styles of buffering inputs, styles of movement, and other nuances that make VF different from other fighting games. There’s only so much you can compare between VF and SF. SF doesn’t have a real implementation of nitaku, or two option guessing. There’s option select, but it’s not limited to blocking or throwing. There’s no kara throws in VF, but there are many in SF.

What I’m getting at is for VF to be on a phone, tons of things have to be eliminated to the point where you’re just forced to mash to win. You won’t be able to Korean or Taiwan step. There won’t be MTE or multiple throw inputs, and even if it were possible, without a real macro setup it would be impossible. VF5FS eliminated MTE to make the game more simple and more rewarding, but now instead of a 50+% chance of breaking a throw, it is now at 33.3% (roughly) since you have 3 options, neutral, forward and backward throw breaks. There’s lots that VF would have that would be eliminated. The same was for SF and KOF when they released it for phones. Sure, you could probably use a controller for your phone, but what’s the point when you can have a console version?

Have you ever played JJBA (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure)??? This game has 4 buttons, but there’s so much that the game’s fighting system offers and is capable of. It’s literally the lovechild of MvC2 and KOF!!!

Tekken and Virtua Fighter differ quite vastly. Frames matter in both games, but in different ways. In Tekken, there’s frame traps and just frame moves, but frames matter in more of an input sense than an option sense (launchers, punishes, optimal moves for more damage, etc). Think of Kazuya’s EWGF (or electric uppercut). VF has those same things found in Tekken, but they are small in number, whereas frame data matters because your options open up more based on the type of hit you have (minor counter hit, major counter hit, side hit, etc). Some characters in VF have just frame moves, like Akira’s K+G:G knee, Jacky’s f+K:G kick, and a few others, but not everyone has a just frame move. Many characters in VF have moves with inputs that have followups on hit, but it’s not frame reliant.

VF is also more environment-based than Tekken. Tekken has stages with walls and breakable floors/walls, but VF has always been about knowing where you are in the arena. I’ve won (and lost) countless matches because I got caught with a setup that even though I dodged a hit, I would ring myself out. I’ve also managed (as a Jeffery player) to either throw my opponent over the short wall, or use a throw that would guarantee a strong combo based on my positioning. Tekken has characters that benefit from throws near walls, but not everyone in the cast can do that.

Tekken has more ways to do damaging combos, and everyone is fairly balanced in that sense. I remember in T3, Xiaoyu was garbage tier (debatable for some) because of her weak juggles. In T6, she does just as much damage off of a juggle like the rest of the cast. Was she still weak? Not as weak as she was in T3, but she wasn’t upper high tier either. The difference between both versions still differs greatly though.

Tekken to VF is like SF to KOF. They both offer the same thing, but they have major differences.

Just now signed the petition. Virtua Fighter happens to be one of my favorite fighting game series as I have played them back in the arcades and overall during the arcade days

Who is your favorite Character?

■■■■ they are all good and amazing for real…

Virtua Fighter has always been one of those fighting games that seemed so boring to me. They are technically really good, and graphically not too shabby either, but they are also rather slow and stiff, and the content is severely lacking compared to other fighting games.

It’s a basic fighting game only for those who wish to play it in tournaments. There’s no fun in it unless you only want to play competitively. Absolutely nothing for the casuals.

… And that’s why it is one of the lesser fighting games, both in popularity and sales.

I think it is cool that there is a fighting game like that for people who like that sort of thing. But for most people, there’s nothing much to keep them playing. You don’t unlock things, you don’t get rewards from playing, there’s no Story Mode, no Arcade Endings, there’s no extra fun stuff other than a few costumes and some accessory options. That’s it.

I like Virtua Fighter, but it’s boring in the long run. So it’s not a fighter for me. And therefore I won’t sign.

It wont and cant be designed only for scorpio it will gave to be designed for the og xb1.
