Tried it, doesn’t work.
@TotalJimkata I tried again, this time I chose a new team, then challenging, then all 3 team members. Once it moved forward to the 1st turn…it crashed.
So I have had it crash on the 1st pop up of the continue game selection and then after selecting a new team.
If SLS isn’t working, it’s probably a server or account issue. This all sounds eriely similar to all the issues with the Shadow Lab at the beginning of S3.
Shadow lords doesn’t work for me either.
All 3 difficulties it crashes on the game on the I tried cut scene.
I’ve tried in Xbox and PC.
I’ve hard reset
Reinstalled the game on both platforms
Nothing I do works. The game is fine until I touch shadow lords and select a difficulty.
It’s a shame because I though I’d try it out since it’s being promoted so much, when I finally do it crashes my game.
ya and shadow labs nuked people’s game save profile and wiped all unlocks and purchases. could be worse I guess. I wonder if this game will ever be 100% cause every patch needs a patch. infinite loop indeed.

You aren’t the only one. The game just crashed 5 mn ago… I hope that the Shadow Lords mode will be fix quickly.
Hi everyone. The team is looking into this, I want to make sure you all have some official advice.
1ST- DO NOT DELETE YOUR KI SAVE DATA!!! Seriously, DON"T DO IT, no matter if you read it somewhere, we will never tell you to do that as you lose all progression if you do. And it will not fix this.
What you can do is unfortunately keep trying here and there and provide more info here- by helping with answering a few questions:

How many of you have a shadow (shadow lab figher) on the account crashing?

For people with 2 accounts, 1 crashing and 1 working, is there any key difference in those accounts? Examples: 1 has a shadow fighter, 1 does not, 1 owns all seasons, 1 owns 1 season, etc.
Also, if anyone can post a video of what the crash looks like (may need to do a cell phone video to show it all the way through the crash part) that would be helpful.
Fixing this is a priority, so all info helps us track things down faster.

I haven’t tried on multiple accounts, but I (as well as a few others) have found that it can work depending on difficulty.
For example: I tried to resume my previous run on Normal difficulty. It crashed after entering the war room. I tried restarting on Normal and Challenging, and both of those crashed after completing character select, just before the intro cinematic could kick in. On Godlike difficulty, however, it worked just fine. I managed to complete the Shadowborn mission and a few Kan-Ra errands, and I’ve been crash free thus far (though it is definitely inconvenient being on a setting higher than I’m used to. Maybe I’ll finally get the 25 resurrections achievement lol).
It would be unfortunate if my Shadow is the cause of this. I wouldn’t want to have to delete him. I’ve had him since Shadow Lab launched! He’s a good boy, I say!
My game is not connecting to multiplayer matches (ranked or exhibition), it keeps searching forever and when I go back to menu sometimes it freezes the screen and go back to desktop without any error message.
It started 1 day after 3.5 release, I play on W10 with Anniversary Update installed. Have only 1 xbox live account.
Only works in Godlike.
I have 2 shadows in the lab.
I only have 1 KI account.
At the beginning I had no Shadows on my account, now I have two and it crashed on both occasions
I’ve only got one account, with 2 shadows on it. My Glacius shadow is extremely popular, if that means anything.
Only Godlike works for me.
Well, my game (on Xbox One because I don’t have a good PC to play the game) works A-OK (I can enter all 3 difficulties in Shadow Lords with no problems), but to be honest this issue concerns me because I know the pain of gettin’ a game that just refuses to work, plus, if this happens, people might quit playing the game because of that. By the way, I have 2 Shadows on my account, my Rash apparently fights a lot in Shadow Lords and my Shago doesn’t have a good record (but at least they can help to get Shadow Points if you beat them).
If I can say an issue I have, is sometimes not finding an opponent in any multiplayer mode from time to time. But I’m curious about the Shadow Lords crashing issue.

Main one crashes, other account works.
Only 1 Shadow fighter in my main, my other one does not.
Any difficulty works on my other account.
Mine crashes the entire game 100% of the time during the intro shadows screen when I start SL, complete with a loud, repetitive buzzing sound…
