This has been said by the devs that the current stages were never made with ultimates in mind (sans Shadow Tigers Lair). Meaning in order to make it work they would have to rework the coding of every single stage in the game. Which is not time and money well spent.
And as we all know they only have so much of that

I feel like the variety of opinions on this Ultimate isnāt really surprising. Rukari called it after KIWC
Iām confident this will be one of the most divisive Ultimates. Some are generally viewed as good (Fulgore, Tusk) and some are viewed as less good (TJ, Shago) but Riptor and Sadira seem to be pretty evenly split. Some of us think itās the best thing since tummy rubs, others are looking for the exit.

EDIT: One more thing: why does the black screen not disappear in this ultimate unlike all the other ones? It sounds small, but people like art and pictures, dammit.

please stop saying she missed the Ultimateā¦ the entire sequence is her Ultimate, she missed a bite, only to completely eviscerate the opponent, Shago was already done for, notice he fell and was lifeless, she missed the bite, which she didnāt care about at first so started celebrating thinking her opponent was completely done in, noticed him twitch, then finished the jobā¦ brilliant to me
also, the she is smart comment being used is sillyā¦ the only thing heighten is her animal instinctā¦ you think she wouldnāt run right into a glass door or fall for a mirror reflection trick cause oh sheās smart? I donāt see how missing the bite and having to come back to finish the job makes her look stupidā¦
I am rather disappointed in Riptor I was expecting so much more from her all this censoring they are doing is sort of ruining the Ultimates I mean Iām not expecting anything like a Fatality but I do think the censoring they are doing is way to over the top I hope they donāt pull this crap with Cinder
