By definition, it isn’t censorship. If it originally had bllod and showed the slitting of the throat but then they changed it, then it would be censorship. However, it isn’t. It was originally made like that so it isn’t censorship. Seems like you don’t know what censorship is.

How do you know that they originally intended to show Sadira actually slitting her opponent’s neck in full scale, and showcasing all the blood that spills from that wound? Did you happen to see an actual clip where that was supposed to happen?

No, what I said is that the so called ultimate looks censored and toned down. If there ever was such a clip of it, you people will get offended and will write post to the devs “think of the children”. Wait, they are thinking of them at all times, which explains why no real ultimate has ever been created, only super combo finishers.
One problem is that not every character “bleeds” per say. Most characters have colored blood or normal red blood while others deteriorate differently. Spinal gets chipped, Kan-ra loses sand, Cinder loses embers, ARIA get cut and Mira loses silver. To make the final blow bleed would be difficult since it would be too heavy (silver), too distracting (sand) or unnoticeable. (Sparks)

If it turns out to be the same quality as the other 3 Ultra-Combo forums exposed videos I’m sure it will be a fair and accurate representation of the KI and forum communities.

You see that’s exactly what I’ve been saying for a while now, people are so hopped up on showing blood and gore when a huge chunk of the cast lacks the ability for that to happen. Aganos for example is made entirely of rock, metal and plants how could sadira possibly slit his throat? Sure the idea may sound great and may even look cool on certain characters to show the blood and gore but it would leave a bunch of characters wondering “is that it”. Look at omen he’s literally made of energy how could you make that ultimate on him gory?

You are this week’s “keeper of the flame!” You have established through your posting that you (not the devs, not other posters, not the world) are the one and only individual who defines what an “ultimate” is/was or could be. Thanks for letting all of us plebs know that these are really super combo finishers. I, for one, always like to hear from an authority so it’s always uplifting when a new Keeper of the Flame! arrives. Well done bro.
Also, in the case that you would like to know what words actually mean - especially when you are going to use them over and over again- here’s the definition of censorship:
“the suppression or prohibition of any parts of books, films, news, etc. that are considered obscene, politically unacceptable, or a threat to security.”
But hey, since you are The Keeper of the Flame! maybe you should call up Webster and let him know that the real definition is actually “stuff that’s not as violent as @Ravenzorel001 likes.” Maybe he just wrote down the definition of Super Combo by mistake…

I’m fine with even just getting Ultimates. It’s a great way that the devs have responded to the community wants.
They are a free bonus so while I may give my opinion on them, I’m not complaining like some posters will just because it’s not what they wanted in Gore/brutality/humor/etc.
I am looking forward to the “funny” ones though. Curious as to who will be the ones to get those.

Use of the word censorship IRT ultimates is not appropriate. Censorship would imply we changed something from an original version to an altered version in reaction to a post-creation inflence, which we’ve not done.
Ultimates were created to look as you see them.
