You see fatalities from time to time in MK tournaments. It is a player preference though. Now in MKX specifically though, mostly you see brutalities over Fatalities because they can be combo-ed into, thus they are quicker and more organic. That is the way Ultimates will be in KI, an organic finish to a match. Furthermore, it will be an organic finish to a Supreme victory match. You’ll have to earn your Ultimate no in KI.
Just for reminiscing’s sake, one of the most iconic finishes in MK tournament history was back in the MK9, MLG days when a player named Curbolicious defeated Perfect legend, the reigning Evo Champ at the time. Curbo beat him so bad it wasn’t even funny. He finished him with a Babality…meaning he didn’t use the block button at all in the final match.
That is what Ultimates in KI will be like, or will have the potential to be like in tournament. They will add memorable moments for sure for many people, and be a way to put a stamp on a finishing match.

No, they should separate them more visually going forward, not make them more similar. I can’t tell you how many times already I’ve started a match with a Jago expecting to block an initial windkick and ending up getting a slide kick to the ankles instead.

If Shago even gets a terror skin I hope its good, I love the theme of his color 9 but the actual colors on it are freakin’ terrible.
