I donât know what you consider their Riptor or Cinder retro costumes to be, then.
Cinderâs WOULD BE RETRO If they got rid of the spikey fingers. He never had claws so itâs not retro.
Riptorâs costume was the only true retro. If they make Tuskâs Retro with the Fabio looking face and exactly how it was in KI2, itâll be retro but anything additional even a flare will destroy itâs title of being a âretroâ costume.
In the trailer Max changed the camera angle on his win quote to make his face look better. IG should do the same thing in game! Looks much better this way

this game is not trying to recreate old KI, its a re-imagining. I donâ t see why even if its 99% the same, one little 1% detail will be enough to âdestroyâ the retro. I would say youâre taking this too personally but then weâd go all off-topic about how its your perception and I canât change that and so on. Youâre free to not like it, but donât claim egregious things like destroying the retro. That kind of wording will just nudge other people the wrong way.

Retro means to imitate the style of a costume from the past. If you add a little motif to something that wasnât from the past means itâs not retro. Maya never had metal around her legs so itâs not retro, if you remove it then it is. I could rant on and on about how a costume isnât retro because of some small motif but simple things like that make a whole big picture when it comes to what a costume was back when KI1 & 2 was released.
imitate =/= exactly the same
Hence why imitation leather isnât the same as real leather, but just looks like it.
Itâs the same with these retro costumes. Theyâre not exactly the same as the original designs from the past games, but they are alike them.

To be fair, itâs an imitation because the graphics are massively upgraded, not because their effort to recreate retros is done by half-measures.

Okay fine he does look pretty cool and handsome in that pic. But most of what I saw I didnât like. If they could make all of his footage similar to that, then itâll be much better!
I wonder if Tusk is part of the Sabrewulf clan?

Tusk and Kim Wu faces are really ugly IMO.
I updated his look to match KI2. I know the developers are fond of his beard so I didnât bother to remove it. if you guys like it, send it keits.
