Gonna second this. I like that TJ’s Ultimate isn’t flashy, he just simply decks the opponent and walks away as they fall to the ground. I do think it would be nice if the punches sound effects had more “oomph” behind them though.

I agree about the sound. It’s one of the main problems. Sounds like he’s not even connecting.

its the sound effects.
Its fine in its own right, but the punches have almost no impact.
Get the sound right, and it’ll have much more (pun alert) punch to it.

I agree that a very minor tweak to sound is the ONLY change necessary to quiet MOST of the whining. The @developers have done an awesome job on these and the game in general. Even without a tweak to the sound I’m sure this one’ll grow on me as well. It’s not terrible at all, in fact it’s pretty awesome. Just without the sound of the hits it lacks the impact it LOOKS like it should have.

It is pretty lackluster when compared to the others.
Where’s the airborn uppercut? Where’s a screen-shattering knock off? Where’s any flair whatsoever? Punch punch punch. “Ultimate”. Its neat but not really that impressive for a finisher, looks more like a cinematic ultra than an ultimate.
Holy ■■■■ was is this anime?
Maybe since they looped bits of Shago Jagos ultimate, they can loop more punches with TJ? I think it starts off and ends great, it’s just the middle seems to be lacking substance. Or maybe some extra sound effects for the punches.
Hajime no Ippo. If i had to westernize it, its like Little Mac from Punch-Out got made into an anime. Pretty good, pretty funny too.

yeah I hate T.J’s Ultimate a couple littel punches and one slow motion big punch…wow how incredible exscuse my sarcasim. what happen to T.J’s gun or his neck snap you cant use the excuse this is T rated because so was the classics and he did it in them and his ultimate was so short whats up with that. I think they wasted a opitunty to do something cool with T.J
If I were new to KI, I would probably not be interested in playing the game after watching that. It lacks good attention to some new players.

But for us, KI community, it still delivers an amazing Ultimate to TJ Combo regardless if it’s distasteful to others.
