Lol, for reference on how badly i was messing up? That same set with Geek’s gameplay? Check timestamps 1:47:41 and 1:23:31. That was the gist of my playing today.
I’m much better now…but i was really, really about to revisit that salt thread and make a new post..

@SlenderCashew50 I know you hadn’t played against me in a while, and in your case, it’s actually appreciated because I can only take so much of your skill in small doses before getting frustrated (as a matter of fact this is probably true for most of you, but many of you don’t even give me a small spoonful of sugar anymore - and yes, I know why; I’m working on that). What bothers me is that during your absence, I had nobody to fill the void. With over 300 friends, many of which play KI and don’t see the drama that often unfolds here, you’d think someone would play with me.
I used to have numerous friends back on the 360 that played with me every single day, upwards of 10 or more (granted it was for CoD), and I don’t see that anymore - with any game. Call me an attention you-know-what, but I crave a social atmosphere. I want and need to talk to people. When that starts to go downhill, I start to feel lost.
I dunno. Maybe I need a girlfriend. You guys know anyone you could hook me up with? 
@STORM179 I have a request - don’t mute me on Friday, at least not right off the bat. Bear with me for a few matches. I’ll do my best not to “whine” and if I start, you let me know so I can stop before it perturbs you too far, or respond to what I say and teach me something first. I’d appreciate your input, and in real time, so I don’t have to wait for it. If I continue coming up with excuses, then by all means, mute me (but again, let me know prior to doing so, so I’m not wasting my own breath and digging myself into a deeper hole for no reason - a simple “I’m muting you now” would be enough, I think).
Consider it a social experiment of sorts. 
i know a couple of girls i have on my friend list lol but only one of them plays KI

300 people though? Yeah, that’s a hard pill to swallow.
More and more I’m liking the LFG initiative on XBL, but I don’t like the idea of “1-shot friends” either. Speaking of which, some games (Minecraft comes to mind) are now forcing you to add others as friends before you can even play with them, which IMO, is stupid, and it promotes that very idea.
In any case, I apologize for rambling. It’s early, I just woke up, and I haven’t even had breakfast yet (a telltale sign of my video game/forum addiction).
As far as I’m concerned the conversation was done last night. Please don’t clutter up the thread any further with this.

What do you mean by “people who are just robots”?
I was accused of being a robot once. 
Like meaning they’re just absolutely, too good at the game, like the Thunder player I played at the end, I felt like I couldn’t do nothing, I’ve never had that bad of a matchup against Thunder..
Nothing against people that know the ins and outs of the game tho. I just play, I don’t really make time to study all the moves.
Perhaps I answered my own question about getting good at K.I.

[/quote]I know this feeling all too well - the players that always break successfully, never fall for counter-breakers, that have a rhythm to, and never drop, combos, etc…
Top players will generally watch out for trends in your attacks. Such as always starting with heavies. They will test break them to verify that you are using such. They will then watch for patterns such as going from heavies to lights and such.
It’s all about mind games. I don’t think I’ve ever dealt with a person who constantly broke everything or never fell for counter breakers. I do my best to watch them as much as they are watching me and test the waters like constantly using heavies to see if they are guess breaking, and allow them to break several things before pulling a random counter breaker.
Then again… I main Sadira and everybody hates Sadira. 
It’s 1 thing to dial-in a player as you play, but we’re talking about the kind that has you dialed in from the get-go - either because they’re simply that good, have godlike defense, and/or know the matchup really well.
