Having not played in some time, shook off a bit of rust in ranked, and ran across @CHANCHULA and @DARKNIGHTSPIDEY, both of whom womped me. GGs to the both of ya.

A quick thought and shout out. First of all holy ■■■■ is gold a grind. 39 points for beating a killer ain’t much especially for someone like me who lacks consistency in play. Which is why I feel it was good for me to get caught by the bug earlier and have to grind gold back again. Made me realize how much I took being a killer for granted. I realized how much I go into auto pilot while playing. Once your a killer you never lose the card and I’ve never been good enough to even sniff top 32 so a loss never hurt so bad before cause oh well its still playing KI and I still have a blast winning and losing. But a loss in gold hurts as the reward for wins is so miniscule and I want my killer card back dammit. Which brings me to my shout out. Gotta give credit to my brother @DeformedbigJ who stopped by my place today and ran off 13 straight and I was able to win a handful at the end of lunch and with a win against @Kpbone I got my card back. So now I am a free 50 points again instead of 30. See you in ranked. Cheers!

Hey everyone, I’m here to ask a big favor from one of you
My little brother (aka Boicriedshark) really wants to get off of combo assist and try to get to Killer rank. He knows of the forums and asked a favor.
Can one of you have a set with him this weekend and record it, so that he can get feedback from you guys in the Replay and Analysis Thread?
Although I’m trying to teach him, he thinks it would be best for a different opinion that’s not his brother (I’m not the best teacher). He’s really trying hard and it would be great if one of you helped me and my lil bro.
Remember, he’s only a qualifier barely getting the hang of regular combos. He’s trying to play Spinal. He’s not the best fighter but I feel he has potential. He even started watching Bass with me to know how to play.

I would but it will be better if someone closer to him (US) can play a set first (in case there’s lag, it’s not cool to start playing with it). Also this weekend is kind of crazy (NocheBuena holiday on the 24 th and then X-Mass) but if he wants to play later, just hit me the next week =)

Yeah after having to grind Gold twice due to said glitch, it is a pain especially as there were and still are several Killers grinding in there.
I could play with him, just tag me when you’d like to set it up

GGs to @iDoMusic4Media for our set the other day in Ranked. The first set his Aganos made like Trump and built a wall. The next time we fought though, my Sadira used a latter. It was a fun set, especially as I rarely run into an Aganos that is half way decent. He used tech I’d never experienced.

Generally the rule of thumb is Sadira + Corner = Dead Sadira.

Shadow roll. If you block a kunai, it’s usually a hard punish to anything she tries to do after.

He was actually incredibly good at using both Shadow Roll and Aganos regular roll to keep me grounded.

I just heard that I have to go to the US for another business trip during EVO Japan. So sad as I wanted to attend this inaugural event…
