Oh yeah I played through it twice already man that was awesome. The second I saw “Helen” reading out of the Testament book and mentioned a blonde haired child being born being equally filled with fire and water I knew it was coming. Urien kind of gave it away too but I wasn’t sure if we would actually see Gill or not lol that ending was awesome.

Back in Street Fighter Alpha 3, I probably played Juli alot more than I played Cammy. I am not one for clone-characters, but for some reason, the whole Juli/Juni partnership really resonated with me. And seeing Juli again in SFV’s Story Mode really made me happy. <3
I didn’t like that she kinda replaced Noembelu as T. Hawk’s “sister”, as she is supposed to be from Germany along with Juni. I get why Capcom kinda had to use Juli instead, due to the limitations of SFA3, but hopefully that will be retconned should Juli ever return as a playable character. They kinda already did a retcon, since Juli was supposed to be a vegetable in some home, according to T. Hawk’s SSF4 ending, but is back as part of the Dolls in SFV.
Overall, should Juli return, I’d like for her to be the “Blair Dame” of the canon Street Fighter series. She already has the hair and is focused on stylish kicks, not to mention she’s rocking thigh-high boots this time around, and since we will probably never see any of the SFEX characters in the canon SF series, due to them being owned by Arika, this could be a cool way to give Blair Dame fans (like me) a way to play a character like her in SF again.
I do like Decapre and though it would be cool to see her in SF again, I’d actually prefer to see Juli back on the roster and playable.
The dolls have the potential to be actual characters and the story mode shows it (well kinda…not Marz with her laptop XD)…if they make a stand alone doll pack that’s cheaper (less fight money per character) I will be happy…So long as its not part of the actual season line up (They have been fightable in the story as well)
If I had to pick 6 they would be
- Decapre
- Juli
- Enero (Pink haired chick)
- Satsuki (Ninja chick who faced gief)
- Santamu (Spear chick with the monkey)
- Fevrire (Gun chick who called Birdie a pig) or Aprile (Nurse chick with the eyepatch)
Marz just seems too silly to me (I still like her though)
Thing is, I truly doubt Capcom would make all the Dolls playable. Only one, maybe two, if any at all! And they would most likely be Decapre and Juli, since they have already had their playable debuts.
I think it is unlikely too but these dolls have potential (which surprises me)…but if came down to likelihood then I think only Decapre will make it since she is the most different from the rest

Yeah, they are just too alike eachother, and too many to be put on the roster. Having just one or two of them on the roster to represent them all would be optimal.
Like I wrote above, if Juli was to return, I’d like for her moveset to change enough to be more unique. Crossing her with Blair Dame’s moveset is just an example based on my personal preference. <3
I hope next game can take place after 3rd Strike.
Some of the old characters deserve a return. And some children can take their predecessors’ places. Like Mel can be one of the new heroes grown up. And Ryu as the new Gouken.
Me too Capcom have been evading the continuation of third strikes story like the plague

How do you picture the next game after 3rd Strike? Mel can be trained by Ryu.

I mean no Bison and Nash = No need for guile to fight = He has gone home to be a family man
I wonder if that might happen with other characters like Vega, Balrog, Bison, F.A.N.G, Rose etc. they get similar but new characters for a new era?
This is exactly what I think. Guile’s entire story was to look for his friend Charlie and take down Bison. SFV’s story gave him closure. He now knows what happened to Nash and Bison is no more. Shadaloo has dissolved, and the next big baddy is the Illuminati led by Gill.
And overall, I just prefer Remy over Guile. :3
It’s tough to get an idea in story mode about the entire movest of the Dolls because (in addition to the game being too easy) they don’t exactly run through all their normals for you. But they each had at least a few unique moves. Things being what they are, Capcom likely didn’t just pull these out of nowhere. Do these moves have any correspondence to SFIV characters or MvC 3? I’m thinking specifically of the girl with the uzi (I guess Favrire?). She had a multi-hit machine gun move that made me think of B.B.Hood from DarkStalkers. It just seems like a lot for them to animate these characters just for the Story Mode… So maybe someone with a better eye can tell me if they are recycling these animations from somewhere or if they really are new.
I know decapre definitely had new moves not from sf4. She had attacks that happens during teleport. Like she would disappear cut you up a bit then reappear close by
Remy isn’t really my style. Guile works for my nostalgia, but I think te greater point is why did Capcom need to make Remy pretty much an exact copy of Guile’s moves? I mean, they couldn’t have been any more obvious about it. Without any semblance of a connection between the characters story wise it’s just odd. They made Dudley completely unlike Balrog and Necro is not at all like Dhalsim, despite both being stretchy. So what is the deal with Remy?

Well, it’s missing some characters I would have voted for, and why they aren’t on the list is odd as other characters from the same games are on the list, so either the poll is biased or the one who made it has just forgotten to put them on. Either way, it is insufficient.
