What an odd poll.
No idea if its fan made, or if it is official and will actually yield results.
No question in the header, just a straight list of names that you can seemingly check all of.
The only way to start voting is to find the microscopic grey text at the bottom of the page.
Pretty rough design if this is from Capcom…
It’s just a thought if the DLCs for Street Fighter will have a season 2.
Cause from I read, this SF DLC for Alex & the others is season 1.
But season 2 will expose about Gill. Just a thought.
Whewwwww that was a lot of editing, but alas, it is complete!
The fully SFV story mode movie using mods. Many of which even change between scenes!
Full list of the mods used are in the credits at the end of the video. Just to name a few; Bikini Karin, Harley Mika, Akuma, Q, Overwatch Zangief, Armored Bison, and many more!
So who is Helen/Kolin?
And who is the character at the end? I think i’ve seen him in a previous game?
the character at the end is Gill. He was a boss in 3rd Strike. That’s as far as my knowledge of him goes. Oh and thanks to a backstory video about Urien, I learned they are brothers.
Is he a popular chap?
Can you make an Orchid Cammy?
Or a speedo Rashid? Boxer briefs Ken & board shorts Ryu
Not really popular. He’s a pretty brutal and unique end boss and they made Urien as a bit of a clone to let people get at some of his move set. I think it’s more of a fan thing because Gil was only in the SF3 games (vanilla, double impact and third strike).
Helen/Korin is his assistant. Not sure if there’s any story but she used to walk into the arcade screen with Gil like his personal secretary.
He is pretty bad ■■■ and has 2 cheap moves… resurrection and a meteor shower type move. You think you have him beat and he resurrects to full energy.
He is hard as hell to beat!
Will next game take place after 3rd Strike?
Finally went through the story mode. It was ok for what it was. I couldn’t get over how ridiculous it was that everyone runs all over the world (literally) barefoot, wearing some of the most outlandish and ridiculous things imaginable.
“Time to sneak into the top secret base of a major terrorist organization!”
“Cool. Let me grab my Japanese wrestling outfit that’s got my ■■■ and titties hanging out. Gimme like two minutes ”
Speaking of which - if the damn Shadowloo base is shaped like a glowing skull with wings, shouldn’t the world’s strongest fighters have some back-up from, you know, actual governments and soldiers and stuff? Nah? Cool beans - the barefoot crazy chick from Brazil’s probably got it In MKX they kind of got around how nonsensical it all was by having those people be around, but hapless fodder. In SFV’s story they just don’t exist.
But hey, it’s a pretty well-done story in a Street Fighter game, so you just have to take it tongue planted firmly in cheek. They actually did put a lot of effort behind it, which I did appreciate.
Also: was anybody else dying about the possessed hair physics-things they had going on? Certain characters’ hair (and objects, like Ibuki’s demon-purse) just randomly spazzed the hell out during so many cutscenes
And Juri riding her bike from Brazil to London on foot and Vega followed XD
And the whole “I need that chess piece…will you give it to me? The one in your window seal? …uhh sure… you can have it …no questions asked”
The thing I hated the most and my family hated to watch was the load screens every 2 mins…way too many load screens.
Overall it was pretty bad… not to mention how hard it was to find and down load day one.
I wont play it again thats for sure.
Plus the Bison Nash fight was nearly impossible
Not to be this guy, but I played it on PC and the load times were really speedy. Fighting games in general in console need to figure this out. I’ve been playing the old games and nostalgia 2D fighters in Xbox One and the speedy load times make grinding out matches so much less of a pain in the ■■■. You can play a whole game of KI 1 in the time it takes KI 2013 to load a match.
As far as the SFV story - no explanation AT ALL what the chess pieces actually were or why the street fighters had them. Why Fang designed his doom device to require five chess pieces. I mean, I understand it’s a plot device “we need to collect the five MacGuffins!” But at least make an attempt to tell us what is going on. Even a shallow hackneyed attempt.
My other complaint is not unique to SFV, it’s pretty widespread in Japanese games. But it’s truly on display here. LONG monologues and nonsensical conversations that mean absolutely nothing. They don’t make sense, they don’t advance the story, they don’t provide insight. They just take up space. The scene begins and ends pretty much with everything in the same place. But it takes forever. Groan
Yeah it certainly has its issues. I felt there were quite a few short scenes that seemed a bit unnecessary, or could have been merged with others. The chess pieces thing could have been explained better too. Why would FANG design this thing to need these pieces, why would he give them the function to shut down the black moons, and why on Earth would he not keep them somewhere secret where nobody could get them?
I also didn’t quite get what Nash’s new power was? In the beginning we see him get tackled by Necalli and that blue butterfly we see many times later flies by and Necalli can’t take his soul and I know w.e his power is weakened Bison so Ryu could defeat but I don’t feel like it was explained…speaking of Ryu, I assume he just conquered the Hado thingy…so does his new hadouken cleanse evil or something? Is that why Bison like disintegrated into blue light? Also, what about this did Bison find so funny?
Lastly, that guy that follows Rashid around…he felt completely unnecessary lol he does ONE notable thing, which was hold the door slamming…rest of the story was him just being there, maybe saying “master” every once in a while lol
Overall I stilled liked it though
Ah. You reminded me. Necalli was absolutely wasted
I believe they sorta tried to do that. Remember Rashido’s friend? The guy FANG turned into powder and licked it like I would lick Sour Skitlles powder? He sent out these pieces to the best fighters because they were the keys to detonate the Moons. Although why they didn’t need to know what the pieces were when he sent them, is beyond me.
This above all. I can understand the flair of the rest. But how the ■■■■ could you program your evil mastermind plot to be stopped???
That was quite fun. I pretended it was a tease for a spooky off-shoot of SF. Ibuki’s bag, confirmed OP.
Just watched the story to its fullest and it was pretty dull.
I will admit that the character relationships were interesting and they did develop their personalities well. But, beyond that the story was really lackluster and felt like it was going everywhere.
I won’t go into too much details but it was very underwhelming, it’s 2016 “it’s a fighting game dude” shouldn’t be an excuse anymore. I always wondered why they never contracted the people who worked on the movies/animes.
Finally got SFV, having a pretty good time. I am trying to learn Nash and Dhalsim.
Ill have the season pass tmw- Gotta get those premium costumes for the lot
