If sf went realistic it would look boring. I prefer sf5s visual style and hope capcom keeps it that way.
Who knowsā¦I hope it is after 3 since nobody knows what exactly happens in 3 lore wise (o very little at least)ā¦I am just hoping for the street fighter game when Bison and Gill face off
I actually hope we do get a S3 remake type thing. Showing Gil like that has to mean something more than a simple Easter egg. Gil was defeated in 3S I think( though I could be wrong) so a SF6 showing after 3S without Gil even though he was shown off is weird.
Call it SF5 4th combo or something and retell 3S with decamped and all the story charecters plus the 3S characters with a new story mode as a season 2 of SF5 or something. I donāt think the visuals of sf5 needs to change for something like this
I get that you love the current style, but it depends on what you view as ārealisticā for a fighting game, or if you actually saw the concept images capcom released that I am speaking of
Soul Calibur has a nice mix of fantasy and realistic design IMO
How do you define ārealisticā then?
I personally like the style, but Iād prefer if the charactersā hands and feet arenāt so colossal. XD
So maybe have them be a bit more realistically proportioned.
When Tekken X Street Fighter comes out, weāll most likely see some more realistic character models for the SF characters. :3
I saw it and it looked like tekken. Sf just feels right with a mix of celshaded ink as it kinda makes it unique.
I define a game going for realistic look to try and look like cod game with that super brown filter. I dont mind a game going a that look, but i still want it looking like its a game and not reality as it would look boring all the way.
Oh, ew. Then thatās definitely not something anyone should go for.
Whens twelve ?
Probably never. Heās not very popular. But you could get lucky.
Donāt worry PR Balrog wants to see twelve in third strikeā¦but he is not a hugely beloved character ( I think he is ok)
Judging by story mode and popularity I think I have a rough idea for who might appear in SF5 DLC wave 2 (not including new characters since I donāt know if we will get more)
- C. Viper (seen a lot in story mode and plays a semi significant role)
- Akuma (Popular demand)
- Sagat (Popular demand, also hinted by Ono)
- Sakura (Popular demand)
- Oro (Seen in the story and does have some support behind him)
- Abel/ Decapre or another doll (Was in the street fighter storyā¦cant think of another reason)
Personally though I want to see Q, Makoto, Maki, Sodom and Ingrid (odd choices I know XD)
3rd Strike roster was better than all the other SF game rosters before it IMO. I would love to see Twelve, Q, Oro and Necro in the game. Gill too maybe. All they would have to do is take Urienās body, color it half and half, throw some blonde hair on it and bam he is good in terms of appearance, then he just needs his gameplay stuff done lol
I like third strikes roster but remy is a character nobody (or the majority) never want to see againā¦Necro and twelve are very unpopular too but I would be cool if they came backā¦I think as of now the best roster for SF is either alpha 3 max or street fighter 5 (maybe ultra 4 based on numbers)
I thought Remy looked cool! The metal head guy!
You must have played a different story mode than me. Where did we see C. Viper? Or Oro?
I just finished Story mode and here are my overall thoughts.
Overall this didnāt do much for me. I hate story modes where you never play the same character twice. You donāt have a chance (or a reason) to figure out any moves or tech with the character. You just do basic stuff until the game suddenly ramps up the difficulty. Then you look at the command list for a target combo or something you havenāt figured out by feel and 9/10 this does the trick.
The story itself was a complete train wreck. Almost none of it makes even a lick of sense and the characters behave inconsistently and strangely throughout. Seriously, you canāt really have a story mode and then be okay with a story like this. Itās a fiasco. About 80% of the time you could replace any of the characters with any other character and it wouldnāt make a difference as to the plot. Characters wander around saying weird things. Two characters meet. Then they fight. This is all very forced, with terrible dialogue and basically a lot of boredom.
Weirdly, Act 5 is very engaging. The fights with the Dolls and the different character interactions are more coherent in the final act and itās actually kind of good. Once they are in the āassault on the compoundā generic scenario at least you can kind of understand what is going on. Go figure. There were also truly touching elements, like with Chun Li and the little girl, or Rashid and the programmer. These could have been played up a lot more and we could have lost some of the utter nonsense sprinkled throughout.
Itās in some of the character prologue stories, not in the General Story.
Like when Juri roder her bik from Brazil to London and Vega followed on foot?
Yeah like that. Even that sort of spatial anomaly I can forgive. They have to fight on stages after all. But wtf are they even doing? Why is Juri taking Cammy and Decapre anywhere? Itās all so badly writtenā¦
Viper is in Bisonās, Urienās and Juriās prologue stories and Juri is kinda working with her (to an extent)
Oro is mentioned in Karinās story and seen in Dhalsimās story
(Not the cinematics)
Also in the story Birdie and Gief were the best things about it (I also liked Helen/ Kolin)
If you enjoy Gillā¦then your in for a treat once you finish Story mode
