With current updated drivers, XB1 arcade sticks don’t work at all…the older ones allowed it to work, like you mentioned, with the L/R triggers not functioning.
I bet that Cammy wish there was a combo breaker in that combo XD!!

Did anyone see the story mode yet?
Cause it was awesome! Including the ending where it will lead to.
i wish they properly explained wtf happened to ryu and what/where did his new power come from. but that ending tho. are they gong to do a story mode 2/ sf5 season 2 with new charecters and etc? or are we going to wait 5 more years for a hint of sf6.
if they decide to do sf5 season 2 they could call it sf5 4th combo XD

I really enjoyed the Story Mode! Japanese story telling is what it is, so my expectations weren’t high to begin with, but it was longer and meatier than I imagined.

Also, it was awesome being able to see the characters come to life wearing my custom costumes and mods. I’m working on compiling a video of the entire story mode, with different costumes swapped out for different scenes. Should be a fun little “movie” when it’s done.

on that note who the hell is this guy? he looks kinda important and actually really cool with his psychic powers that may or may not be psycho power related.
oh my just seeing the story mode makes me want so much of the non playable charecters in story mode to be playable and and some to have their lore updated. like decapre, that katanas holding Doll(fairly sure sf never had a katana using fighter. would be really cool) the boy, the djinn guy that hangs out with rashido. with a good and proper moveset they look like they would be interesting to play

Ed was supposed to become a spare body for Bison, but Seth stole him and was later freed by Balrog who kinda took him under his wing. But yeah, that’s why he kinda has some Psycho Power.

I’m just gonna say this outright, after watching the story on Max’s stream I am willing to save up for this game only if capcom releases a Doll dlc.
Finally got to sit down and play through the entire story mode and man I am impressed. Long load times aside, I thought it was good. It was interesting to me, it was nice seeing the characters interact with each other in a way that wasn’t just still shots etc. it was pretty much the first time I have actually felt immersed in the SF story outside of the little animes for SF4. I know the SF lore pretty well I think, but I felt much more connected to this SFV’s story thanks to this mode. I hope they continue to do story like this in future games. I really really liked it and really enjoyed playing through it. I am a pretty big fan of shonen manga/anime and while this wasn’t exactly like that, it gave off certain manga/anime vibes that I really enjoyed.
Speaking of that kid with the hoodie, did anyone notice he had like barcodes on his shoulders/upper arms? Or was I imagining things?

I’m only in act 3 so far but Chun li is absolutely gorgeous, she may be the prettiest video game story mode character I’ve seen (with the ugliest default outfit p)

THIS is what story modes are all about, full animation and voice acting , not looped character viewer shorts, tweening or slow motion images of paused characters on stages…
I hope in the future Orchid receives such an honor!
I hope next game can take place after 3. Maybe Mel can be the next Ryu or Ken. And Ryu the next Gouken.

From what I saw of the art direction they scrapped for V, I really hope they go to the realistic cgi design of the characters. That would’ve been legendary
I was just wondering about that. Will SF6 be after V but before 3, or will it be after 3? I wouldn’t mind seeing a retelling of 3’s story but in SFV style story mode, but then people would be upset and cry that it’s a SF3 remake or something
