Looks cool. Slow though. That’s a bit of a turnoff for me.
Rashid is my new Main…Lol Sorry Ryu, but any dude that controls the wind & has a scouter is cool in my book.
So, Rashid looks pretty cool. I don’t really know what’s going on with most of his combat design, but that hop kick special looked like a wind kick and it got me excited. I hope it’s safe on block. It’d also be cool if he had a DP and a few plus frames here and there. That’s not too much to ask, right!?

You haven’t been paying attention, have you? Capcom stirred up their fair share of scorn and perturbed sideways glances with R. Mika. Some commentators also used the opportunity to chastise Cammy’s thong leotard design, which in a way is more problematic: at least R. Mika is played as a campy, self-aware s`ex object. Cammy’s outfit is bewilderingly out-of-character for the sake of pervy fanservice, it sets the precedent that
Aside from which, why should Microsoft be content with following Capcom’s embarrassing lead? It actually seems like MS is trying to drag fighting games kicking and screaming out of the basement and into the real ■■■■■■■ world, where there are actual women and where people aren’t generally seen m`asturbating furiously over their videogames. If Capcom want to mire their game in racial stereotypes and sleezy female costumes for people to mouthbreathe all over, let them go down that dark alley alone.
Honestly, it’s a bit sad to think that the thing that convinced you to fork out for a PS4 wasn’t the interesting video game, but rather the bit of softcore p`orn that snuck its way into said interesting video game. Why don’t you just head over to pornhub like a well-adjusted adult?
Also, the thong leotard isn’t Orchid’s “true” outfit. Orchid made her debut in KI1.
Man, if SFV lands an M rating, then Capcom are shooting themselves in the foot. Just about nobody thinks SF is “edgy” these days.

I get that 9/11 was a traumatic experience for the US as a nation, but far crueller ironies have been rendered upon far more persecuted peoples by insensitive PR campaigns than a character with a similar skin colour to that of the 9/11 terrorists (and hundreds of millions of non-terrorists) being unveiled for a videogame. If in your need to distinguish good from evil you have to resort to racial prejudices such as this, then you are a detriment to society.
Hopefully an admin will warn/ban anyone who airs this kind of garbage from here on in. I’ll gladly report it.
Contrary to Capcom PR claims that the game is “PS4 and PC exclusive”?
Among the 16 launch slots there are 2 remaining new character slots and 3 returning slots, so not all of those characters can make it in at launch.
If you piece together Ken Bogard’s leak (which people are fairly confident in, because it’s been right about a lot of things, now including Rashid) and the Siliconera leaks (which appear to have called R. Mika at least, but I have nfi how reputable Siliconera are), then newcomers from India and Brazil will join returning characters Alex, Urien and Karin to fill out the roster.
Or not. Take that info as you will, I’m not saying it’s all reliable.

I was going to pass on this game, but the characters do really have personality and animate very well.
Not a ps4 but probably a new PC for this game (and KI).
I saw that Rashid can speed up his jumps when jumping into the tornado. He gets a short boost which allows him to cross over to the other side quicker. Really neat.
In the end, Cammy retains her image, and Orchid loses hers.

I think I know which games were released and which according outfits were applied. Stay in your own lane unless I ring for you.
And I could care less about a thong, you’re sadly mistaken that it’s the source of my pleasure lmao. Why must you always resort to a sexual gratification? It’s all about the general look. I could care less if she were covered up, I’m not ATTRACTED to it, you ----- ------, it’s about top shelf design, not shortcuts and fish food hair. What sold me on a PS4 is a team of knowledgeable designers and artists who care about the aesthetic as well as execution, ----- a th ong.

I honestly don’t mind about releasing an Arabic character on 9/11 (imo I think he looks to be a great fighter). My problem was more focused on the immature jokes some trolls would inevitably make about 9/11, which could potentially be disruptive/time wasting to others who actually would want to see comments and opinions on Rashid, hence why I said this was the worst time to release an Arabic character’s trailer.

I feel your pain.
I’m not going to mince words… That was easily the most boring trailer for a character that I’ve seen yet. Just straight dullsville. Sorry to Karin fans. If there’s something I’m missing here, by all means let me know. But after the awesomeness that was Rashid’s trailer, I thought that this character trailer was extremely weak.
Really hope it was just the trailer herself and that her actual move list and the way she plays in general are a bit more exciting.
That’s mean, Leaked are true? Alex and Urien will return!
