I think overall that character diversity comes along nicely. Only why use a slot for Vega, that was unexpected to me.

Can’t say they’re covering all bases: zoning still continues to be conspicuously MIA. All the anti-projectile V-skills seem to be compounding on the worry for a lot of people, too. Maybe within the last 4 characters they’ll reveal a thoughtful zoning combat design that can cope with the game’s rush-heavy bent and all those V-skills (it’s certainly possible, Glacius and Kan-Ra would probably body the SFV cast), but they’ve left it kinda late, and 12 reveals without a zoner seems like it ought to serve as evidence against a zoner in the initial 16.

In terms of no two characters being alike, though: ya, they seem to be doing well in that regard.

SF has never really had many Zoners the only ones I can think of are Necro and Dhalsim

Uh, just plain old projectile zoning is a viable strategy for a large portion of the roster in many SF games.

you’re right about that. However, I still think that the current roster is diverse enough for me to enjoy it.
But a zoning type would be nice indeed, not a Kan Ra type of zoning though, but I am thinking more of a Dhalsim/Seth(?) type.

Well as much as it is reliable in some areas there are some major flaws:

  1. No Vega or Necalli on this roster since it it post birdie + cammy (If they knew the name of Rashid they must of know the others)
  2. The characters supposedly leak expand beyond the core roster of 16
  3. the post was not deleted (if Capcom sought this to be true they would take it down)

I really don’t know why Capcom won’t take down post leaked. But I still believe Alex will return.
