At least your seeing the sunny side of things. Plus Tira will be playable in the story mode once she’s downloaded. i do plan on streaming the game once it comes out. and I plan on streaming the stories the first time I play them.
but I do hope we get Aeon int he base roster. If not, I can get him for DLC. But his chances are still strong.
I try to look at it as if I were a tire fan as much as ivy, and I get it.
However, they stated time & again this game was set sc1/sc2.
Now, on Bandai Namco side they erred in making a DLC trailer before full roster launch details, that’s what’s sour…

My guess is also that they wanted to ensure Tira fans they were it forgotten, that’s way they announced her as DLC before the roster was done.
That’s really sad, although it’s not all that surprising given where the series was after SCV came out. It’s still newsworthy, of course, and I appreciate you sharing it, man! I mean, when the lead dev says, in no uncertain terms that this will be the last game if it doesn’t do well, it’s definitely something fans should know, if that’s possible.
He might not see it as a call to action and I’m sure he doesn’t want to come off like he’s manipulating anyone, which is noble, but I certainly hope this game does well not only because I want more SC in the future, but because they’re really good games.
Soul Calibur games have always been incredibly fun experiences with great characters and fluid gameplay, so it’d be a shame to lose this series. I haven’t preordered yet, but I think I’ll be taking care of that tomorrow.

Still mad about the Tira being day 1 DLC despite all those explanations about why the situation is the way it is and how Okubo acknowledged they messed up. But they keep calling those an excuse. What do they want them say?
Probably something like “We just wanted to take more of your money so we cut up the game. But now we feel bad sense you’re yelling at us, so now she’s free.”
