Can’t say for sure. For all we know some may only have one gender. If the lizardman have only one gender, I doubt it would matter since most don’t have an idea how the gender dimorphism in reptiles works. However if we do get female lizardmen I’m sure it will be a leaner version of the males. This is because female lizardman would lack breasts despite being originally human.
If you take Riptor and make her male, the appearance would still be the same hypothetically.
But I will only make riptor if there is a bestial fighting style.
I do also hope lizardmen get faces as well like maybe dinosaur faces for example.then I may as well make anthro versions of the dino gods from primal rage.
Might be, the race do look like their SC4 design. For aeon they used that model in SC-4 but gave him frills and fins. The muscle structure does imply that it’s male, but that’s only if there are females.
If there was a female it would have the lean build unless you can adjust the bulk to a degree since the original form was human. But that’s up in the air, they haven’t shown enough yet I’m waiting for more info to pour out on the mode. Heck I don’t even know what lizardman to make. I have an idea what we might get, but until I see how much is there I don’t know for sure.
That’d be trolling a lot of people but I think the short height won’t go that far. With some luckthe customization will be just as flexible.
As for heads these are a guesses but I think we could get.
Frills
What I do hope for but might not happen
Cobra Hood (keep in mind though they are lizards not snakes despite being in the squamata famility)
Dinosaur head like a raptor to name a few.
Those characters are all reasonable guesses but even if it’s right it’s just as likely someone made it up and got lucky as that they had “inside” information.
Inferno? Hmm. I’m kinda hoping Azwel is the final boss, tbh. I think he looks like a really fun character with the sort of crazy, outlandish move set you’d like from a boss.
Inferno, while belonging in this time period, is still more of a mimic character like Edge Master or Dural from VF. Kind of a waste as a final boss, but whatever.
So I can’t watch that Cervantes video at the moment, but are people thinking he’s going to be DLC or main roster?
Even I knew that way back when, but Vader was really fun to use IMO. If anything, it was just a warning sign of SC5’s roster changes (only 1 guest but a lot of terrible original characters).
In most cases the voice actors don’t get a say in how the acting is supposed to be done (as we know from interviews from the old RE1/2 voice actors for example). Technically it’s Namco’s fault for wanting them to sound that way, games like Dark Souls are proof that English voiceover can be way better than what we are getting here.
Inferno was te final boss in SC-1. Keep in mind that soul calibur 6 goes back the first soul calibur so what your seeing is an expansion on that. Azwell is the final boss of the CaS story.
Yeah I agree. I see all leaks being fake until proven by Namco.
I don’t consider them all terrible some of them are even favorites of mine. But that did get my brother worried as that proves fighting games can no longer stand on there own recognition without a guest.
It can rail in those who are not fans of the game sure but yu don’t want to be too dependent on them.
Keep in mind it is a leak so it might be false too.
Yeah, I remember that Inferno was the final boss in SC1, I’ve just never been overly fond of the, I don’t know what to call them, (mimic characters, I guess?) being bosses. I always thought Dural was a lame boss for VF. They could make some cool looking, imposing boss with a cool fighting style and maybe some OP aspects to ratchet up the difficulty, but instead it was basically just a metal Mokujin only more shaped like a human lol.
No problem though. I won’t mind if Inferno’s in the game because you’re right, he fits that period and he was the boss before, so it’d make sense. If Azwell is the final boss of the CaS story, that’s more than alright with me!
Well, I think the reason he was a mimic was because he’s Soul Edge Incarnate. While Soul Edge is primarily known as a sword, he can change his shape depending on the wielder. For example, if you wield a sword, he will transform into a sword. If you wield an axe he becomes axe ect. So it makes sense from a lore standpoint.
the reason I refereed to Soul Edge as a he was because in the lore the sword is identified as male.
I had already accepted the franchise as being dead after the SCV failure. That we get SCVI was a huge unexpected surprise. It shows that there was a big enough demand for it, and Namco listened. It’s kinda the last hurrah of the franchise, a love-letter to the fans.
Soul Calibur was never a hugely popular franchise though. So if SCVI doesn’t succeed, this will most likely be the last game.
I’ve already come to terms with it. And with all this uproar about the Tira DLC, it is the most likely scenario. But I will take what I can get.
In my opinion, I’d rather have a character be DLC then be left out of the game. So then here’s hoping we get more DLC down the road and that Soul Calibur VI will be successful.
Oh, I’m totally with you there.
I can understand people’s disappointment… I’m one of them, as Tira is a fave of mine. And having her as day 1 DLC is scummy business practise for sure, even if she wasn’t planned or ready for being in the main game.
But at the same time, I am happy she will be available and at launch as well.
Conflicted is the word to describe how I feel about this.
But it’s not enough for me to not get the game or buy Tira as DLC.
