No offense but the screencaps BblackorchidD posted showed it off better, I barely notice it in this set.
I remember hearing somewhere that Lizardman is actually favored by the gameās creator, so if thatās true I donāt see Aeon not making the roster. Tira I feel may end up as DLC though, like Eliza in T7, since itās clear that most returning characters are from the first game.

True, but he was also teased in the story trailer with a design that combines his costumes form previous games. Not to mention he is apart of the swertzstorm. I can see Setsuka being DLC becaus of where the story is now. It starts at Soul Edgeās end and tells the w hole story of SC-1 then going to SC-2.
I also do hope that DLC wil also have a story expansion as well.
Part of me thinks you misread my statement, I didnāt say he wonāt be in the game. If anything, Lizardman being a legacy character and being liked by his creator basically guarantees heāll be in. I feel it was my fault for wording is as āI donāt see Aeon not making the rosterā, probably gave the wrong signal by mistake.
I still stand by Tira being DLC though, since she wasnāt in SC1.
Just to point out, Astaroth is the clone - since Rock came first (in Soul Edge). They have always had different moves, with Rock missing out on some of the outrageous long range and stupidly powerful moves Astaroth has, but also having some better grapple moves.
Hmmm yeah SC-III did hint at Astaroth being modeled after Rock. If I also recall, Kunpaektu (The guy who created Astaroth and Made Aeon into a Lizard) Told Aeon to kidnap bangoo (Rockās son) so that he could Lure Rock so that Kunpaektu can take his soul. My guess is to make Astaroth complete.

Yeah Rockās the original. Man, itās so weird to say that since Astaroth has more or less taken over as the āgiant axe character.ā Same goes with Seong Mi-Na being the original and Kilik not being in the series until Soul Calibur. Itās just odd to think of her as the original.
That said, it would be nice if Namco and Project Soul did even more to separate their move sets than theyāve already done in the past. I know Rock and Astaroth have some definite differences and so do Seong Mi-Na and Kilik, but itād be cool if maybe they leaned in to the throw moves more for Rock or did something that gave him a bit more of an identity thatās his own. Maybe played up the acrobatics a bit more with Seong Mi-Na? Not sure. Either way, the more unique they are, the better, as far as Iām concerned.
I do also hope that DLC characters will get story DLC too. I want to at least see what they have going on for it.

welp theyāve been keeping us in the dark on a lot of these things. Iām starting to think that we may end up finding out what these things are ourselves.
At this point it might as well be a surprise for us.

Sorry, but there is nothing in the world that can top this.
As for Rock, he has a lot of standard moves rather than things that lead to some weird follow-up or a grab. Theyāve played off of this before and I think they could do that again.
Another thing to take note of is that thereās a new system that could give them different traits. For example, maybe their Soul Charges could be different. One could have armor while the other focuses on damage.
Sheās not in Soul Calibur though, you dingus!
But youāre right, Anime Squirrel Girl wins overall.
I hope itās true that each character will get their story mode too.
