So the ESRB description was right about spears (Seong Mina) though technically it’s longsword & staff

They both look great and I know Seong Mina fans are rejoicing !

It’s so odd how they all look like chibi faces in the hero art

Yup. Hopefully we will see Lizardman next. I hope he make sit in soon.

Also, I love Astaroth’s Design. The snake theme is awesome. If I make a character, you might see some of those on them.

So now we have six left.

Lizardman
Cervantes
Hwang/Yun-Seong
Rhaphael
Tira (or new character if Tira is DLC)
Rock (It is SC-1 after all)

I think we might be getting all the characters from SC-1.

down for seung mina, im glad shes back! i like her new look too lol, i looking forward to labbing her and seeing her new moves. at this rate im gonna be in there for a week or 2 before fighting anybody. i havent been this excited to play a fighting game since…killer instinct S1 lol

Me too… I really want to spend time in the story modes and create a few characters then lab up for a good few weeks before online play. I’m sure the spammers will be there to keep everyone company-

What I find off is that is that apparently the launch roster 's number is not final. Someone said it was mentioned it during the finals but I’m not 100% sure. that would be great news since this could increase the chances of Tira and even setsuka as well. I just hope Lizardman gets revealed soon.

Soul Calibur is the one game I’ve ever been able to get casual players to play and Seong Mina was my wife’s preferred character. The character used to be cute. Now with just the top half of a bra on, defying both physics and logic, I don’t see her wanting to play this character. They are more or less convincing me that I can just take a pass on this game.

No need to give up yet if you still want to play it. There’s still alt costumes, and you can change the costume’s in character creation if you don’t like the design. But I can udnerstand if you both arn’t fans of the costume.

I won’t blame you if you both give it a pass.

Soul calibur was the ONLY game that I thought doesn’t deserve clones.

Welp, They did work to make him abit different from astaroth in some instance, so I doubt they will re-clone Rock. Heck if they were gonna do that they might as well do it to Siegfried and nightmare who still have their own move sets from previous games.

Same way with Aeon. I can understand where folks are coming from, but I think it’s jumping the gun to assume that characters will be recloned. Heck for all we know Rock won’t wield an ax in this game, but it’s still hinted at for sure/

Really psyched to see Seong Mi-na return! Could’ve done without the underboob stuff, which was the first thing my wife saw when I showed the trailer to her (oddly enough, she’s also my wife’s preferred character lol).

I think she’ll still play the game, but I doubt she’ll be selecting that outfit. Either way, she looks like she’s a lot of fun to play. Same goes for Astaroth.

Crazy as it sounds, I’m kinda hoping they leave a few characters for DLC, like Raphael, Tira, Hwang, Rock, Cassandra, Edge Master / Inferno, Setsuka, Hilde etc. Gotta have some characters you want to see make a return, right? I was really psyched when I saw that Lei was finally on his way back in Tekken 7’s DLC. I wouldn’t mind getting that feeling when the DLC is announced for SC.

Kinda surprised at how many guests Tekken 7 has. They’ve never leaned in to guests as hard as they are for T7. Makes me wonder if that’s how they’re going to handle Soul Caibur VI as well.

I’m just basing this on the possibility that he will be in considering his involvement in the first game, and that this is a retelling of SC-1, and the story between him and Aeon. Unless they retconned it and freed Aeon form Kunpaektu’s mind control.

He was in SC-III and SC-IV too.
