Aww man I loved this one! Particularly when the floor was quick sand.
Since I guessed Astaroth, Voldo and Cervantes, I’ll guess Palgaea Shrine, Money Pit or The Adrian and the Fortress. I don’t think any of them have been shown yet, have they?
Yeah this might just be my mistake then. I feel like I’ve seen some new stuff, even if only a move or two, with most characters, but Maxi seemed to be identical to previous iterations. I did watch Max’s reaction video however and he seemed to be surprised by one or two things, so I think that this was almost assuredly an error in judgment on my part.
To my knowledge no. Only four where revealed. One was a stage in Zasalimel’s trailer.
They auction off the right to select a character. So you bid to win your favorite and then the highest bidder for each character competes in the tournament with that character.

I mean, I couldn’t guarantee you that every move was the same as his earlier incarnations. Who can memorize an animation set as varied as Maxi’s? But I didn’t see anything obviously new. And I guess to be fair, why start using new animations in iteration number 6?

I honestly don’t keep up with all the SCVI news, finally got round to doing a Maxi reaction video. Liking what I’m seeing so far but I have to agree with the comments that someone else mentioned in this thread regarding what is actually new with the game?
I’m interested in hearing more about new modes and customization
hasn’t gotten that far yet.
They’ve added some cinematic slow down situations with lots of visual effects, similar to Tekken 7. There’s two mechanics that use this. Reversal edge, which is a charged button that leads to a Rock Paper Scissors style “two way interaction.” And Lethal Hit, which is triggered differently for different characters and slows time while you juggle your opponent. It remains to be seen if these are substantial and impactful or just visual gimmicks.
