X3 I member when I had trouble fighting a maxi player, My brother called Maxi OPed.
My first attempts with maxi usually resulted in certain stances I didn’t understand however he is undoubtedly one of the flashier characters. Even his idle stance is ‘dancing’. Lol

Maxi has always been a pirate. He’s not that nautical, but that was his backstory.
As far as his lack of anything new, I haven’t really seen anything new in any of the trailers. It looks like pretty much the same mostly recycled animations with updated character models that we always get from Namco. So I wasn’t more or less affected by Maxi.
Nightmare was still interesting one of the reveal so far. Yohsimitsu was a close second.

Nightmare won’t hold that top spot for long.
Heck I also thought Zasalamel’s was cool too.
Personally, If Lizardman/Aeon’s super does well it too would take top spot.
Maybe I should figure out how to play Maxi this time. I’ve actually been fooling around with nunchucks here and there and I basically think I’m Kim Wu status now.
I think he has some new strings shown but I might just not recognize some from past games. He’s doing a lot of meter-burning though which is something he did a lot in SCV.
Maxi is the Eddy Gordo of Soul Calibur. You can make a lot of cool moves easily, almost just by spamming.
Yeah, I never really liked stances like his in 3D games so I’m hoping I can deal with it this time.
You’d think that by playing Hwoarang, I’d be use to stances but I’m still not. I’m still waiting for Yun Seong btw
With some luck they will add him. Either that or Hwang.

i hope we get some kind of release date news soon, cant wait for this game
E3 is our best bet.

e3 last year sucked, ps and xbox was ZzzZzzZz is what i mean. this year i hope its different. bear in mind its my opinion, maybe others enjoyed it but i sure didnt

id like to see the roster, modes of play, and chara creation. see what we got in the pipeline. MK i dont care much for, but still interested to see how everything is looking for it
Only thing about mk11 is I want to see if they progressed from the graphical style of injustice2 and the chosen mechanical upgrade of this season
i.e. I’m really looking forward to the character select animations and how they’ve excelled at that since MK reboot
I don’t ink I’ll be as ‘on the edge of my seat’ as I am with soulcalibur
I’m still following what they have going for SC and hopefully, if they add Lizardman at E3 I will buy one of their special editions when it’s available.
