One thing I can truly say about libra of soul is that if you keep going to the main story you may find yourself disadvantaged if your at a low level. Thankfully though you can level up by doing side quests and missions. There is so much to do in that mode.
A few of the higher level players Iāve seen have done one and dones again people. If you can take a round or two or win a game they seem happy enough to rematch, but if they 3-0 you theyāll move on. You donāt really get anything for stomping out lower ranks, so I can understand a bit of just wanting to move quickly through people if they arenāt really challenging you.
Still, It seems most of my games, Iāll do kinda bad/decent the first match, but then Curb stomp the second match.
Listen, it hurts when you have the Plus Ultra Read, and you get hit by BS, they bag you and leave. Makes me feel a certain way. Like ā ā ā ā it dude, give me my salty run back
Lol. No, Iām with you homie. I always rematch even if it wasnāt a good game, just b/c Iām also a player who often takes a game to adjust.
Also, you better not stop leveling up. I just did my first offline grind session last night with some friends and studied some more frame data and counter hit stuff today, and can safely say that if you donāt keep learning and striving Iām going to leave you in the dust
Bring it homie. Iām never gonna lag behind you ever again.
So thereās a CaS Villain contest on the sub-reddit, so I decided to make Jafar from Disneyās Aladdin!
I just love to see people happy and enjoying a game. I got about three hours in before this trip and itās a great game for sure.
@TallerGorilla95 I havenāt checked out the single player content but this is definitely not like SCV. I hated SCV and I canāt even tell you why. It felt so jerky and lacked the fluidity if earlier games in the series. More like Virtua Fighter it Tekken. This game feels like Soul Calibur 2 or IV.
@xSkeletalx I have never been a super competitive SoulCalibur player but you will have to accept that as awesome as the game is, it is not balanced like KI. There are some pretty lopsided matchups and I think Xianghua vs Siegfried is one of them. Some characters he smashes and others smash him. Obviously you can improve your matchup knowledge but know that itās understood that some characters are just not as good. For example, Nightmare is a better Siegfried than Siegfried - heās faster, more damaging and has more options. Itās always been that way. Iām not suggesting the player doesnāt matter or that you canāt find a way, but just know itās going to be uphill against some characters.
One of my favorite Disney villains.
Same. ^^
Jafar and Hades in Hercules are my two favourite Disney.
Well, seems like a fair bit of Nightmareās pressure might not be quite ārealā, in the sense that you can actually blow through a lot of the follow-ups. Itāll definitely require strong MU knowledge though, so that you know just when those opportunities present themselves. Mina can stuff him on a lot of stuff, and sheās one of the slowest chars in the game up close; Xinghua might have some legit damaging stuff available to her to shut down the unga.
With everyone having positive things, Iām going to have to start going online this weekend.
Sat down for about a half hour and decided to take a shot at creation - this is āUdorothā , sort of a take on a Bishamon-like dark samurai.
Siegfried soul, of course.
ive got a good 4 to 5hrs seat time so far with SC6. i am so very pleased with it, it feels like soul calibur 2. the speed is good, the fights are thrilling, and it feels like it can go either way under threat of ring outs or just being strategic. i do hope namco messes with the hitbox issues regarding custom charas on ranked though, that so far is my only concern other than hopefully fixing the laggy matches. its early still, but im confident issues will be addressed since apparently this could be the last SC game. so far so good!
my character picks atm:
-Seung Mina
-Astaroth
-Geralt
in the lab for training:
-nightmare
-ivy
-zasmasol
also i fought an astaroth with geralt. holy crap it was the absolute hypest match i had in forever. we had parry wars, ducking throw wars, mix ups, tech grabs, close calls, ring outs. every fight ended with both of us on the magic pixel win or lose. we went the distance with me breaking the tie 2-1. if there was ever an even match, it was that one. SC is definitely back lol, i regret not adding that guy to my steam list for sparring
My husband Kenshi!!!
Thanks to those who responded to my questions. Sorry for not answering sooner but life happened, and any money I had saved up for this ended going to pay-the-bills land. Car repairs are funā¦
Well either way Iām still having fun looking up all the insane CaS creations. That accessory morph setting is crazy for making all sorts of characters, like how Maximillian used bat and bird wings to make a proper hat and scarf for his Lady Maria CaS.
Edit: To clarify, he posted a video on how he did it on his channel, even used Grohās moveset to simulate the blood magic.
I also took the liberty of making a couple punching bags for training. In the form of Skeletons at the momment.
