@TallerGorilla95 I canāt answer the first question, as I havenāt even touched any of the gameās single player content. For your second question though, the game plays much more like legacy Calibur (specifically 2) than SC5 as I understand it. Movement is quite fluid, and meter gain and use is quite a bit different from 5. For myself, I think the amount of single-player content is still really good - the game still has the museum loaded with lore and artwork that I dumped so many hours into way back in the original Soul Calibur. 
Iām really looking forward to unlocking it all and reading through everything.

I am spending so much time on creating characters that I legit forget to play the game. Have hardly even touched Libra of Soul and only did half the stories! XD

I love making characters and finding cool variants of costume placement
I spent last night making pics of future combinations since certain parts will ābreak offā some of those puffy dress bottoms and long sleeves it really makes for some awesome combinations
Itās also nice to know we have a couple more characters with usable parts coming soon!
I really hope thereās a new female character with big hair like Azwel & Kilik (Malfested) so I can make my superhero ladies a bit grander
Iām staying away from ranked until I learn more characters- but I do like the standby feature while training

Iāve barely had any time to play, but I really want to dig into learning Siegfried at least. Iām hoping Iāve learned enough FGC basics from KI that I can greatly improve my SC play. In the little time Iāve played, I lose to Xianghua a lot, she seems to get tons of damage off juggles and knockdowns, even when just spamming . Had a really hard time against my friend in couch play the other night lol.
Maybe at some point schedules will align and I can get @TheNinjaOstrich to play with me a while.

I was hoping he would have kept his SC1 main costume though, the one shown during Seong Mi-Naās story. Thatās my fave.
I just made his SC3 costume because it was easier to make.

So Custom Characters on Ranked can have changed hitboxes? Thatās crazy. Maybe thats why people just play one and leave.
