I dunno, I’d prefer saying that so at least I’d get some respect.
I love Brandon to death. I’ve always said that he is a great ambassador for the game but this is a pretty bad look.
Well, that’s that. You can still Bag your friends at KIWC.
Now What?
That’s not the question that’s raging in my head right now, dude.
So does that mean this thread is done now?
I dunno, I feel a strong discussion could be made about how STUPID this move was.
Nah, best to leave it alone and move on.
Probably in his mind that it was “just a prank bro” but got blown up MUCH more than he thought.
Agreed. This topic did it’s job and then some. More important things in the world to worry about outside of this silliness.
lol
Looks like this thing just make Kotaku.

@TUSKODINSON Right now:
In all honesty this was about the only way out of this pickle without causing permanent damage to the reputation of the tournament. He opened his mouth and inserted his foot…the only real way out is to confirm that the foot does indeed taste bad.
Still, props for taking the hit to keep the tournament in good standing.
I guess bad publicity is better than no publicity lol.
■■■■. Brandon pls. LOL
It’s something I’ve wanted to do since SF3 had stuff like that (not the teabagging but the taunt stuff) and Skullgirls.
I like the idea of taunts having an affect on gameplay and even something built into the characters fighting style.
Sounds like you just described the definition of mental and emotional manipulation to me… So, why shouldn’t there be rules against it too? Just because it’s harder to enforce? Please…
Manipulating your personal mental weaknesses via in-game methodology is not the same as manipulating the game itself via external methodology. It’s actually the opposite.
Cute attitude though. Pathetic, but cute.
I don’t see that as in-game, though, at least not all of the time. Talking smack, for example, is not in-game…
Also, your use of the word “pathetic” is exactly that. Using a negative term to belittle the person you’re responding to, and is entirely inappropriate. Thanks for that…
Talking smack and mashing down are not manipulating the machines on which the game itself is played either.
Mashing down is literally in-game.
Your mental weaknesses are not my mental weaknesses. The game itself, on the other hand, we both play on equal footing. Telling your opponent they suck is not the same as manipulating the technological architecture of the game or the machine it is run on (an analog would be a game board).
Sticks and stones, fella.
