Unless theyāve fixed it and Iām not aware, you canāt do replays of Shadow Lords. Replay isnāt set up to include all the buffs SL gives the game (Guardians, nanobot midifiers, etc), so it tries to recreate the matches using vanilla KI with disastrous results. Every time Iāve tried it, not only did the match not recreate properly, but if I let it play all the way to the end the game would crash.

Can I ask what difficulty and what setup youāre planning to approach with?
Sure! Last time I went with Tusk, Jago and Fulgore, 25%'s across the board for all three characters plus killer snake and two epic fractured wards. All three had wolf hearts, but if Iām being completely honest, I couldnāt bring myself to use the consumables for any of them.
I was able to beat him, but then he resurrected. I thought I had him below half instinct, but apparently I didnāt, so he came back and destroyed me.
This time Iām going with Aria, Jago and TJ Combo.
I wonder when the next guardians will comeā¦ patch 3.5?
Solid team. I donāt know how you play so I canāt really say anything, though Iāve found that Snake isnāt as effective as Fractured Ward or Exemplar, even Ram. Heās tricky unless you have a sureshot way of catching him.
I got lucky when I played against him as Rash. He popped Instinct and I got him in a combo with his lifebar down, parried/blocked (one of those) through his explosion which left him at less than 50% Instinct. Single Ram Charge, very anti-climactic.
I kinda like this about SL. You can find your own way to deal with the boss. Nobody really has a right answer.

Really? Shadow Lords replays work just fine for me. Unless you play on console. Then I donāt know. After playing on Pc I could never go back to X1. Sooo slow, load times, problems, membership fees no thanks.

Hmmā¦maybe they patched it? Now that you mention it I donāt think Iāve used replay since that last patch.
Iāve been using replay since it launched. I wouldnāt know what else to say, but if you have issues with replays, record a clip and post it in bug forums.
You could always do this to him.
First time I saw that happen as a kid I was all āOhhhhhhh it hurts! OH GOD!!! THE PAIN!!!ā

Iād like a remaster of the series. Iāve played them all except blood omen.
A remaster would be amazing. The greedier part of me would love a relaunch of the series set in Nosgoth, but perhaps with new characters since the Kain / Raziel story has been told to completion. Or who knows, maybe Kain goes on a new adventureā¦
Either way, I could see something like a gothic Dragon Age Inquisition set in Nosgoth, perhaps with melee mechanics closer to LoK Defiance. Iād buy that in a heartbeat.
The first Blood Omen is probably my second or third favorite behind the first Soul Reaver and perhaps Defiance. It had a sort of Zelda vibe to it that I really dug, plus some RPG stuff as well. Blood Omen 2 is probably my least favorite, but I enjoy them all to some extent for the story, the characters, the dialog, the music, etc. The gameplay was fun in most of them, but the other stuff really elevated it, I thought.

Defiance, man. All I want to see is how the Scion of Balance moves on from the Soul Reaverās sacrifice. I have no idea how this story ends, and it has been FAR too long with out the next (final?) chapter.
Well the series ended in a somewhat of a cliffhanger (since raziel is in the the reaver now.) But Iād take a remaster. Sadly the voice of the elder god is dead. Shameā¦
I really want to play and try out those changes but Iām having difficulty being motivated to do so, I havenāt played KI in weeks because I was so turned off by how Shadow Lords played out with all the difficulty issues.

So on my first try on SL, I got jago, kim wu and fulgore. I lost kim which made me happy I was like āfehk dat bishā cuz I aint good with her so I only had jago and fulgore left. About 6 turns later I lost fulgore and I thought ā ā ā ā ā it man Iām screwed now, whatever Iāll just get to the end with jago onlyā and boy was I dead wrong lol. No way I could get to the end with one character only so about 2 or 3 turns after losing fulgore, I lose jago and that was it. Iām currently on my second try with the team of jago, glacius and fulgore.
