No, its just them not caring about the people who supported the game since launch, either that or MS just not giving a ■■■■
Honestly all I can hope for at this point is that there is some BIG stuff about season 3 that they haven’t told us about yet that makes things right. I still believe Iron Galaxy cares about the fans, even if Microsoft clearly doesn’t. That being said, the pricing really puts a sour taste in my mouth.

This is true. I mean heck, Season 1 was FREE 2 months ago. If you look at Season 1 as a game, and Season 2 as a game… being valued at around 5-10 bucks at this point is pretty accurate.
This is a case of early adopters paying more. That happens with every product. Yeah you paid more for KI… but you also had it 2 and a half years ago. If you wait another year you can probably get this 60 dollar Supreme version for 20 bucks 
Every game drops significantly in price the longer you wait to get it.

ALL I AM TRYING TO SAY, is season 3 ultra should have been priced different. MKX did it right. (Yes I know pc didn’t get it, but for consoles they did right by the customers)

And you don’t see how that is a problem? You really don’t see how that is a problem, especially since on windows 10 you can get both of the other seasons for 10 dollars more? HOW CAN YOU NOT UNDERSTAND HOW THATS A GLARING PROBLEM?
yeah the discussion should be on the s3 ultra pricing. depends on how much you value the vip and KI Gold. Brand newcomers (self included) won’t mind it so much, but if you already grinded out a lot of levels and costumes over the years, I can see where there’s not much value in it that you’re being forced to pay for anyway.
It comes off has a haphazard frankenstein package of parts created to justify $40. it doesn’t make a lot of sense if you compare it to the value of the 1st two seasons.
Something else that’s weird, s3 ultra and Supreme Edition buyers will be getting all costumes/accessories out of the gate. so… what’s KI gold for again?? and what’s with the vip levels? matchmaking?

jpralester yeah the pricing is bs, but it’s the way it is. Supreme edition is 60 on xbox, meaning Seasons 1 and 2 break down as only 10 bucks each if you buy the whole thing. Sucks, but again that’s how gaming always is. Early adopters pay more. The xbone Supreme is 10 bucks more than Win10 because WIn10 doesn’t include KI 1 and 2.
I think that some things like icons and messages on your tag are reliant on your level so the VIP boost will help you get there faster. The Community Manager for IG has said that there will be items later on that the KI gold will be used on that is not included in the Ultra additions.

Oh I agree with that. Based on what we’ve seen $40 for Season 3 is too high. Only 3 stages? No classic game? Same price? The Gold is a BONUS for pre-ordering, and not part of the 40 dollar price tag. IG needs to clarify what the value is and what’s coming.

I wouldn’t call 40 dollars for less content an insanely low price, but I am sure Iron Galaxy will make things right, they always have.

Okay, I’m sorry. I know I shouldn’t bother but what game are we losing here, kiddos? Is it the classic entry of KI3 from the N64? Oh wait, there are no other classic KI entries. Or at least, there are not any other main games. Maybe you wanted the KI game boy edition entry as the classic bundled with season 3? Or maybe you can stop your self-entitled moaning about the “game we’re losing”.
There are no other games to bundle with Season 3. So faulting them for not having one is literally crying because something doesn’t exist but you’re spoiled and you want it anyway. As to the content “loss”, let’s look at the facts. What was wholly contained in the previous seasons were 8 characters a pop with extra costumes for each, stages, soundtracks and a classic game. Season three is missing the nonexistent game and five stages, however we are apparently getting additional costume content for ALL characters. Given how useless stages, costumes and classic games are to the actual gameplay, that actually comes ■■■■ close to evening it out. Also keep in mind that Season 3’s purchase grants you it across two mediums. I know you’re spoiled, but you need to understand you are actually getting two copies of the game for one. Will all of you use the PC version? Probably not. But that is still something that you’re getting for your money.
So, Seasons 1 & 2 Ultras came with 8 characters, 8 costume extensions, 8 stages, 8 soundtracks and a “classic game” (factor in Omen how you want). Season 3 Ultra comes with 8 characters, 25 costume extensions of varying degrees, 3 stages, 8 soundtracks and an extra copy of the game (with additional content possibly coming a la Omen, who knows?). Is that really so drastic a disparity in content? Or better yet, so drastic as to merit the collective moaning and crying of a “gilted” community?
I laid out the post awhile back of what each season included, and season 3 is lacking compared to 1 and ESPECIALLY 2 since 2 was cheaper at launch. And about your pc point, Season 1 and 2 get you the pc version too, so thats really a moot point.
