I think the part about her nunchucks being lit is because it’s in practice mode with instinct always on?
They aren’t glowing in the trailer when she is in the story mode clip with the black background and she hits herself with the nunchucks
Maybe I’m wrong but I thought that’s why they glow, like Maya’s blades or Orchids batons, they electrify heavily when in instinct, and even if you never activate instinct, they will glow for the duration of the match until you are defeated,
1-I’ve been defeated as Orchid with instinct ready, batons electrified, and just before the opponents win animation the glow ‘zaps off’-
2-if I was the victor, her outro always had the glow off until she spreads them behind her for her outro choreography.
PS Kim’s outro is so badass it’s better than any of them! All that power and finesse with the dragon nunchuk blasting in the screen! Whoa
I like hisakos a lot as well. Maya’s too short. She and Thunder got a raw outro deal.
Kinda wished they would remain moving like soul calibur or MKX models. Maybe IG made us a Character Viewer!

i’m not “spazzing out” I just don’t like when the retro costumes get censored…don’t see why it’s a big deal for me to voice my opinion.
Yes she’s a college aged girl so it’s perfectly fine, but they chose to portray her as a kid, which means regardless of age you don’t want to sexualize her too much or you lose that aspect of her character.
I can see where you are coming from I just prefer the retros to be exact

For one thing, you are using the word “censored” wrong. Censorship involves an official review and suppression of undesirable content. The creators choosing to not put every character in a thong is not censorship. So, already your opinion is contrary to the facts in front of you. People use the word censorship because it invokes weighty ideas about authority and interference with creative expression, freedom of the press, and open exchange of viewpoints. But that has nothing to do with Kim Wu’s retro. You can’t be opposed to censorship that doesn’t exist. What you are opposed to is covering up Kim Wu’s cheeks with clothing because for 0.5 seconds per match you want to stare at them. A weighty subject indeed.
Second, we have had several threads already dealing with the alteration of retro costumes in the name of good taste and a T rating, and it is a tired subject. It’s also something that is not going to change, no matter how many people complain about it. So I just don’t feel like wrecking the Kim Wu reveal thread with the same pointless discussion. That is MY opinion and I am expressing it.
But hey, if you want to rally the villagers to storm the castle with torches and pitchforks in the name of more ■■■, then I can’t stop you.

Anyway it was censored because it’s not going to look the same as the original costume. it already has existed in KI2 so I really don’t get your first argument.
But Adam just said it was EXACT. Except for the shorts! I bet the shorts are going to be short anyways. I’m just glad my Main Character from my Childhood is going to have an Exact Faithful KI2 Costume.

You know what would be cool, is if we get a stage outside of Jago’s Tiger Temple, out in the Tibetan Mountains! It would look so beautiful! Or even the bridge that’s in the back, so we could have a KI2 similar stage with snow!

Hmm been having the thought of Kim’s sleeve being put on the other arm instead with some kickass dragon design that goes with it while her tattoo could work as an accessory.
[Edit: Hmm after thinking about it I sorta understand why they gave her a tattoo as well. I assume they wanted to channel her rebellious type of personality which makes sense. ]
with the other details I’m hoping IG includes chinese fabric/design in her coat since it’s looking a bit bland to me ^^;
like a small detail that can be seen in the light or something haha.

Probably because original Kim just had a thong on underneath that flapping dress thing if I recall correctly.
