Not a big fan of her character design, it could have been better imo. But it’s not really bad.
Her play-style looks very interesting. She is one of my old mains and I’m picking her up naturally, have been looking forward to her modern incarnation.
Can’t wait to randomly raw-upkick my opponent en take ~40+% damage with the one hit. 
Gonna be fun!
My gripes with her design is not even just her appearance. It’s her whole personality that doesn’t really appeal me. It’s not the impression I had of her, being so clumsy and cheerful. She is a bit like Sakura, which is one of my least favorite characters in the SF universe.

Fashion wise I’d probably loose the one sleeve from the coat and make it a cape or a vest. Then coordinate her boot to her base outfit and not the outerwear. 
She’s going to have different outfits.
Something tells me this may be her retro outfit which is stellar but it’s so close in aesthetics of the ki2 outfit
This may be the first time we see the retro first and the default is upcoming
And i severely disagree her KI2 ‘hair’ did NOT lookbetter,
You KNOW that was literally wires as hair.
Technically Rash was the first character that showed his Retro before his default costume.

I hope they add the tracksuit and maybe Sadiras short hairstyle in black!
I really want that costume to be her new one, and to get the old thong and fishnets back, but who knows. I’m also very curious to see her accessories and colors. I wonder if her chucks can be swapped out for other weapon accessories.
Just got my new CPU in the mail yesterday, quite a beast! I’m more than ready for S3. Here’s hoping those Windows drivers are in the works for the TE2…
Oh you’re right they could just have accessories to make it into the retro! The sash could be replaced by her cloth KI2 and the jacket could just be switched to the tee style pink with blue buttons.
I’d love an elaborate stick style somewhat like Maxis awesome choices over the years!

A traditional karate outfit (Sakura?)
A matrix style (trinity ) with Long coat
Barbie with blonde hair and /or Alice in Wonderland
Kim’s retro is very much her retro outfit (like exact) although she maintains more of the shorts underneath from her new version.

I actually LOVE that it’s the retro! That is one of my faves ever. It’s like having orchids shiny retro now I can have a KI 2 match
Based on her attitude I kinda wish her taunt was blowing a bubble of bubble gum for some reason.
I think it has more to do with the fact that she’s a kid which would make the outfit awkward. Even street fighter won’t go there, they have cammy’s ■■■ hanging out but when it comes to sakura they give her shorts underneath her skirt.
That’s what I suggested! You can see my original suggestion for her being an anime confident bubblegum type and everyone tried to shut it down
I love her look and character but I’m not to fond of the dragons and the num chucks being lit. Maybe tone down the dragons to be almost see through and one single color. Maybe a slight glow to the chucks instead of them being fully lit because it’s hard to appreciate them like that.
