I hope most/all of this is untrue, because if it is true then I feel bad for the devs having to hear all this pre-emptive flak for stuff they did/planned that they believed the fans would really appreciate. That would be a bummer.

Real or not, a KI vs MK cross-over is inevitable to the level it’s surprising it hasn’t already happened.
You need to brush up on your KI history.
I remember seeing it season 1. Someone made a shadow orchid fight stick. The idea came from fan art. A second community fund should go to stages and ultimates.

If Shadow Orchid is true - very disappointing IMO
No Eyedol- Very disappointing.
But thats just my Opinion…nothing more.

Same here. But I never understand why we need get another shadow characters?..
I guess its an easy bonus character compared to an all new character? I dont know. If Eyedol returns…then Id ont mind a shadow character…but I dont see why there is no room for Eyedol but there is room for a rehashed Shadow character. I cant stand Orchid in the first place, so a shadow version just inst cool IMO.
But thats just me… there may be many many others that do like it…and that’s ok. I just want Eyedol to complete the OG cast.
We will all find out soon enough!

Not only are more shadow characters a bad idea, but a shadow orchid is the worst idea ever.

Well I wouldn’t say that…easy now. you dont want to get in trouble. Remember BONUS is a free character…not in the plans or a part of the budget. Its more of a gift.
We will see it all unfold over the next few months.

I just want a new PD AND CONKER!!!
I wouldn’t even buy a new Perfect Dark, honestly after how bad the 360 one was. That kinda killed the franchise for me. They would have to seriously pull out something amazing to make me take interest again, Conker on the other hand is a different story. If they made that I’d be interested for sure, especially if they brought back the multiplayer from live and reloaded.

This is easily fake by a mile. “Shadow orchid will replace the random select button.” Yeah, nice try though. There were other examples as well but this one made it clear.
Shadow maya was also another giver.

I am highly expecting some sort of aquatic character this season. Main reasoning for my speculation is Mira’s blood attack effects. Mira seems to be the “easy” character to build this season because she borrows a lot of things from Maya: Walk speed, frame, several attacks, etc. This is similar to Omen in S2 who borrowed just about all of his moves from other characters. I believe Omen was released when and how he was partially to practice getting Cinder’s particle effects down, as Omen’s body had a similar thing going on. I think Mira’s blood effects might be a similar tack-on to practice for a water fighter’s effects of some sort.
