Imagination is a powerful thing.
True
ARIA in just her bare circuits, oh la laa~
Honestly, I donāt know what to say to that. So Iāll just shake y head.
Soās Fulgore.
Thatās like looking at the inside of a human with blood and organsā¦thatās not attractive.
Bet ARIAās got a nice chassis.
I know she does. I look at it all the time.
I honestly donāt want to see stuff like bikinis for all the girls. IMHO theyāre actually very boring. A couple of strips of color here & there, but mostly Itās just skin tone #37 as opposed to skin tone #36. Not a whole lot different in concept than when people have been complaining about how bland it is to see the entire cast in a purple or green hue.
Iād much rather see new accessories that look awesome. Put more clothes on, not take them off.
If theyāre going to do sexy skins, they gotta do them in a humorous way and make them for everyone. Lifeguard Gargos - a speedo, goggles, and doesnāt want to save you.
Not really a fan of themed outfit packs like this. Iād really like to see packs for characters that actually reflect the individual charactersā backgrounds and add a bit to who they are. Like a high tech spy Orchid outfit that looks unique to her would be more interesting and original than stuff involving bathing suits, wedding dresses, school outfits, etc.
Regardless of whether any of these are objectifying or not, itās still kinda fetishising if the theme or goal is intending to make them look sexy and to me, that seems kinda pointless when other stuff that enhances the character in cool ways could be done instead.
In the same way that I wouldnāt want to see Tuxedo Jago if nothing in his story points to a need for it, I also wouldnāt want to see Wedding Dress Sadira unless sheās getting married in her story. I donāt care if those outfits make them look sexy or not. How does that equate to more enjoyment of the character or their story or the game or the overall story? Thatās what I personally care about.
Plus, and I donāt mean for this to sound too pointed at all, but is there any particular reason why we need characters to look sexy in a video game about fighting? When did those two become so intrinsically linked? Like what does it do? How does it make the game better or more fun or more interesting or anything else? Why does sex need to be a part of the equation when other considerations could be more authentic to the character (even in a game with robots and dinosaurs) and/or more interesting?
If thatās what you want, then more power to you. There are plenty of other games that have women dressed a certain way to appeal to guys so for me personally, that feels like time and money wasted when more cool stuff could be done to give them more depth or give you a visual connection to their story, etc.
If any of those types of outfits happen to look attractive to the player, okay fine, whatever. I donāt particularly care. I just donāt think that needs to be the goal or even a consideration as to where the focus is best utilized creatively.
Glad you like the idea.
Okā¦I donāt know how you got ācompares to opening the ark of the covenant and having your face melt off for looking at itā as me liking the idea, but whatever floats your boat.
The sarcasm was pretty obvious.
