I gotta say I have mixed feelings about this one as well. Maybe it’s just RKosmik’s cut of it. Starting off, all I could think is this kind of creepy eastern style has been done to death by MK ( lol, death), and then I noticed the return of the electric horsefly from Mira’s theme. I was about to write the whole thing off, until close to the end when the heavy guitar riff started kicking in, and it saved the whole thing.
I give it a 7 out of 10…a hair bit better than Riptor’s, but nowhere near hitting it out of the park like, say, Spinal’s theme.

It’s alot better than Mira’s theme, I actually really like it. The electric horsefly isn’t as prominent as it is in Mira’s theme imo.

I’ve said this before, but I believe Mira’s theme really suffers because of the lack of a stage. One of the devs, @TempusChaoti I believe, mentioned awhile back that her stage would have been something like an underground area that has decorations going back to the Victorian era, but looks like its been lived in all that time, so stuff like computers & junk would be present as well. With that in mind, Mira’s electric horsefly would be very suitable and appropriate, but without that visual, I fear everyone has just filled in the empty space with the classic Castlevania-esque vampire tropes , and the techno side of her theme just seems out of place.
Did we get accessories colors somewhere?

I like Shin Hisako’s theme. Enough to make me actually choose it in the character select, which is something I never do for any of the stage-less characters.
I think Shin Hisako’s theme (personally) is better than the original.

To me, so far, its just meh… its not very deep. It doesn’t have many changes, no build up or climax.
Now I havent heard the regular “CD” version…only the in game version. I dont think its near as good as Omen, Raam,Eyedol, Fulgore, Jago, ect…

Shinsako’s theme is pretty good. I like the drums a lot, and there are some sections I like quite a lot. And unlike some folks I like the mix of electronic, traditional Japanese music, and heavy guitar.
There are parts of it I am not a fan of though. The ultra theme is pretty weak, and the danger music kinda grates on me.
Her theme reminds me of riptor’s from the original KI.

I hate to channel Verruca Salt, but I’m genuinely curious if/when I’ll ever get this prize, or what it might be.
