From what I understand when Hisako got a hold of her father’s blade she was reborn as a spirit known as a Kami.

Is there a lore post that I missed that says this. Because Kami refers to God at least that’s the only Japanese I’ve learned from watching Dragon Ball Super. Kami Sama! Anyways, it would reinforce God Hisako aka Shin Hisako.

I don’t know if I’d take what’s on the wiki as confirmation she’s a kami or god.

I’d say we wait until we get official word from the developers (wikis are almost always community run by definition) about what the story is before we call anything official, but the Kami theory is definitely quite convincing.

Hisako is the best ig job and one of my favorites in the cast, now Shin Hisako looks nice.

Just hope some new animations, not too much recycled.
Will wait until gameplay. Close-mindedness rarely leads to good outcomes.

it always kinda grated on me that jagos sword was supposed to be light saber-ish in design. maybe we finally get a glowing sword

An idea just went through my mind.
Her stance surely will be different from Hisako.
And wouldn’t be totally badass if she uses the same stance as Tusk in the select screen/accessories screen?
The one where Tusk stands while holding his sword over his slouders, with one hand.

I would kinda like her to hold her sword similar to how haohmaru from samurai shodown holds his.
I imagine you’re not too far off as far as stance goes (the over the shoulder guard, also known as the Wrath Guard or Roof Guard in some cases, is fairly popular because of the immediate swinging power it gives) but she’ll probably have both hands on the sword so it doesn’t look identical.
She may assume the same position she has in her hero art, but in a standing position rather than kneeling.

Glad to see IG is continuing to release slightly modified character models with slightly different movesets without new stages and charging full price for them.
I would take any character, remix or not, over 12 stages
Also, if Shinsako is half of fun than Kilgore or Omen, two chars I love, I would ask them for as many remix they want
And assuming that Shinsako will have a “slightly” different moveset is assuming too much
