Glad to see ungrateful people continuing to complain that they’re giving us extra content, especially a character we don’t know anything about yet, and complaining because it isn’t exactly what they want.

Im on the side of things when its hard to think of two spirits of a same source sharing the same space and time. This should be resumed to something simple to undersatand. Most shins are transformations and not ascension to a divine state. There are evil shins you know. Shin Hisako should be a transformation too like all the other shins we know. Its too late to say it but her intro should be fixed or reworked in a way she enters the stage as the normal Hisako, the Hisako we all know without holding her naginata as she grab the sword she become alive while she holds it. We need things to be more comprehensive and plausible. It’s not because its a video game you toss all the logic all out off the window. This defy all logic even when you have Shadow Jago x Jago or mirror matches. Things need to be a little bit consistent storywise. There are people upset not just for the fact of that survey having not a single meaning for the game but for bringing a character that reflect a belief of something unknown for the most of the people and their culture. Developers said Hisako is a yokai ghost at her launch. She’s described as a yokai at her bio. Then people are saying she’s a onryo. Now she’s turning into a megami? What in the world is a hisako then? A morphin spirit? Please make things more simple to understand respecting the common sense and beliefs overall.
Shin Hisako doesn’t need to be a kami, megami, whatever. Shins are a temporary transformation. They always was through all the history of fighting games.

Yeah. That would’ve been sick, but I was already kind of guessing that it’d be more like the Kim Wu gameplay demonstration, where the character didn’t come for a while later.
My guess is the Tuesday after World Cup at the earliest. So sometime between the 14th and the end of the month

I’m sure she’s going to be 100% awesome and play really really well, and yes i will be buying her just to give them more $. Unfortunately the brain dead name and the fact that it’s still Hisako is what i do not like. Yes the teases unfortunately caused my brain to think that i was getting a bad ■■■ ghost dad in armor with the spectral look of the buildings in the background of hisakos stage, not a miniskirt janky small samurai armor wearing hisako. I like remixes i Maxed out both shago and omen to level 50 via ranked matches only and yes my kilgore is level 48 and i absolutely love him. Now had shadow jago not already existed i’d have the same reaction to his reveal. But since he was already there to begin with he didn’t bother me at all. Hopefully she gets a better name but if not then we will just deal with it. You can vote with your wallets but again i’ll give these guys money for just about anything to keep this game going hehe.

Man-Beast Sabrewulf think Hybrid from Underworld. Werewolf genes Riptor. Glacius with Gaseous armor instead of Frozen Gel. Kan-Ra with Ermac-Palpatine powers instead of sand.
I’m kinda curious as to how many remixes we’re going to be seeing now, I mean they did that survey and asked what ones we would like and out of the characters we have seen neither of them were from that list.
Is the intent to fill up the roster with a bunch of duplicates now? I mean I still want to see a Shark man and a Rushdown Glacius but if that means bloating the game with copies I’m not sure how to feel about that.
I guess we’ll have to just wait and see, though I’m not all that thrilled for duplicate Hisako.
Well, at least I’m not the only one using the term “clone character” about her.

I personally think we will be getting a season 4, And these 3 remix characters are just to tide us over for A bit… season 4 may be taking a while to complete; i.e. May be a really good in depth season worth of content with stages per each of the 8 or 9 characters from the survey, plus stages for Mira and eyedol and Raam… I’m sure this is just wishful thinking on my part, but stranger things have happened before so who knows… there had to be more to that survey, I think

So out of Shin Hisako hype I decided to try out Hisako again… holy crap short characters have forever to react to cross ups!! I thought my reaction time was just slower since I’m getting older but yeah no, Raam has zero time to react but with Hisako I have all freaking day to just sit there and decided whether to just block, counter, or anti-air.

Yes and it’s clear that he has a lot of recycled Fulgore animations. I know he plays different but his model and animations are mostly from Fulgore.
“Remix” characters are fine but on the surface, seem lazy and an excuse for a cash-in.
Completely original characters with totally unique movesets take more time and effort to develop so why waste resources when you can just recycle stuff that’s already been created?
I think these characters should cost $2.99 max.
