Supernatural was straight. Till season 11 i think. Show me an episode were a single soul turn into multiple spirit. I dont remember.
I suppose, although to me there is a thin line between homage to something bad/cheesy and something just being bad/cheesy. The Aria stage ultra and these two names find the ājust badā side of the line to me.
I donāt think the Andy line of reasoning is off, but if it is actually the case, I do wonder why they need to do that. If they call the character something else (like Chiharu), people will still see sheās a Japanese waifu with a sword, and people who love female Japanese characters will still be excited for her. Hisako herself had no history or lore before her release, she was just a Japanese ghost chick. They donāt need to invoke the Hisako name to get street cred with people who will just naturally be excited for a Japanese sword girl.

I really didnāt want to have to touch Supernatural, but it wasnāt Season 11. It was Season 10
I donāt see why people are making such a big deal out this i mean look at DOA5 that games roster went down the toilet since they brought in non stop clones and gender bent characters until later that game fell flat on its face. And what people need to understand is that Kilgore, Shin Hisako & the other remix Character are not the Season 4 roster (Which BTW i donāt want Season 4) Now some can agree to disagree but you to admit that these Remix arenāt as bad as other Clones in other fighting games where they have the same moves from their original counterparts take a look at SF & DOA5 for example they have to many clone characters. And yet people are hyped of the fact that Eddy Gordo is back for Tekken 7 while iām still waiting for Armor King.

At this point, im more excited for her gameplay than her lore. But to be honest, a characterās lore is a big deal to me. Cool characters vibe more with me than āsolid or fundamentalā ones.
Ill be, hopefully, putting in some work with her once she releases. But as far as her name? Yeah, Shin Hisako might come up on the game. I can see every conversation ill have with me defaulting to āChiharuā

So its safe to assume Hisako are evil? With yin yang splited things are kinda broken. So thats what sheās now a broken spirit. If you watch KI season 2 canon, these things wasnt supposed to happen for her.

Nah, Phase 4 has a lot of moves that Kasumi canāt do. The relation is the same as Hisako to Shin Hisako.
Still not as bad as people comparing Kim Wu to like models, lol.
