Now, there are many different wonders on who this could be, from what I’ve picked up from Twitter replies in regards to the tweet:

I’m gonna go ahead and say I do like these estimations. But I can’t decide for myself on who this is.

Reduce your friends list to less than 32 killer instinct players and your SL will work just fine… or wait until the new patch. BUt either way there is something you can do to avoid the SL crash.

True, but I dont feel like going through my list, and end up having to re-add people later…also, a lot of people I play other games with have played KI, not that difficult since the game is basically free to play…

lol. It’s going to be a character people. Just look at the two empty spots in the character select.
I highly doubt it’s going to be a SL guardian. I mean, why would they do so much teasing just for the sake of an assist. Plus Tusk and Kim are guardians as well so I’m pretty sure it’s a new character.
While I’m sure most people where joking about this (at least I hope), it low key does bother me about how some think the katana wielder is a guest character. The whole katana thing is part of the lore so unless the devs plan on bringing said guest into canon it’s not going to happen.
It could well be an alternate playstyle for an existing character, which technically wouldn’t be a “new” character.

Remember they’ve added a sixth slot in the guardians room. Still, its more like a character btw.
I feel like they know the audience by now, and how people take little bits of information and run with huge assumptions. Teasing like this for it only to be a Shadow Lords Guardian, would be a bad idea in terms of huge disappointment. I’m leaning toward a character for this reason, espeically with KIWC coming up soon.

A katana would obviously be installed into the Stalker unit’s tail segment modification slot. Check out the extended Stalker tail mod section in the Spring 2017 Ultratech catalog; they’ve got a acid-spraying scorpion stinger, net launcher, sword mount, and I’m just happy that this is the year that Ultratech finally released the bazooka tail mod attachment in “Plum Purple” to match my own savage Stalker. Great job, Ultratech!
