An episode of “The Boys” has a fun reference to MK:

Also, here’s the trailer for Takeda:

  1. Yep, I’d called it: Animalities officially confirmed and at the same time officially returned for Mortal Kombat 1    :grinning: :sunglasses: :+1: :fire:
  2. Don’t forget the Animalities too @Evolution
  3. Doom Slayer and Kung Jin as guest characters for potential AND possible Kombat Pack 3? :slightly_smiling_face:

I think I’ve just found the perfect guest character for MK1, if not “Injustice 3” - meet Snowflame, the cocaine-powered supervillain:

Kombat Pack 3 now in the works?

If you’re a fan of the series, Mortal Kombat 1 is definitely worth checking out. It’s a solid entry that respects the franchise’s legacy while introducing new elements. TheGekkInsights Says

I’ll be really curious to see how much further MK1 is supported beyond T-1000. I feel like there were very strong rumors going around by known “leakers” or whatever that all DLC after T-1000 had been cancelled; that there’d originally been another season of DLC planned along with a second story DLC, but that all got scrapped when MK1 sales fell below expectations and Khaos Reigns was received so poorly.

But Ed seems to be indicating that there’s still more to come. I think my biggest issue with NRS right now (aside from the fact that they’ve essentially rebooted the franchise’s story for the second time in four games and retconned the origin of every character which is just a garbage way to treat your own franchise and long time fans alike) is that they’re so secretive on what they’re working on. They never share anything until they’re ready for some full on “reveal” or whatever and while yeah, it’s great to surprise your fans, it’d probably be a good idea to drop some hints or indications during the times your team has essentially gone dark so people don’t think your game is dead but idk.
