I absolutely LOVE all these different variations and fusions, although I think Kitana Kahn might be my favorite in terms of how it looks.

All of these variations so make me hope that “Kreate A Fighter” is DLC.

That would be fun, but I doubt it.
I don’t get why people would want that, especially as dlc. Like… it’s not even an actual character. And it’s sooo many resources from the devs for something that means nothing as far as actual gameplay.
It’s not hard to see why tbh. After all, part of the appeal of character creation is letting players have the freedom to create new and interesting possibilities. Creating characters from their own imaginations, or characters that one wants to see but due to copyright issues make such a thing impossible to do. Or simply seeing and testing different possibilities in terms of how a characters look and play. Granted, not everything produced is going to be good, but when given the opportunity, though, some of the more creative fans can do some really awesome stuff.

I mean, to this day, you still have people that use Armageddon’s KAF feature. So clearly theres a demand for it.
However why they wouldn’t launch the game with something like that to begin with makes me doubt it will make it as dlc.
(Because think about it, why let the players make Quan Chi and Emrac when they can just charge them separately? The suits are already ten steps ahead of us.)

Speaking of modes that SHOULD be in the game, am I the only one who finds it iconic that a game about Tournaments doesn’t have an actual Tournament Mode?? (Arcade Tower Doesn’t Count.)
(Example:Budokai on PS2)
Like the very least, THAT should’ve been an absolute must.

Not just this game, but with most recent fighting games, its pretty weird how a simple feature like that couldn’t be implemented.
Only games that come to mind as of late was Smash Bros, DBFZ, and Tekken 7. (Though that one only worked online)

The last MK to have an actual tournament mode was Mortal Kombat 4/Gold (home console exclusive to PS1, N64 and DC).

Thus another example of MK4 never getting the credit it truly deserved. Which is kinda funny considering how neither of the PS2 era games carried over that feature. Weird.
I mean all Tournament mode really is, is just a fancy Vs Mode with a few adjustments for the player to mess around with. Why developers refuse to add a basic feature like that, to me, is just strange. (Unimportant, Oversight, or just not profitable are my only guesses.)
Guess theres always pen and paper, but thats just not as exciting.

What a world we live in where I got the new Mario day one and I’m waiting for the ultimate edition for the new MK. High School me would be ashamed.
At this rate, NRS can keep Omniman and Homelander. I can live without them.
70$(+) for an unfinished, rushed, buggy game under the excuse of “early access” to me, is just unacceptable. And the fact Shang Tsung was actually a major character in story mode, only to be locked off for no reason just shows how little respect they have for the people buying the game.
Seriously, what happened during those four years of silence? Because the final product doesn’t really show it.

This. Western Developers and Publishers don’t care about gamers like they used to. It’s all about profit, live service crap and Economic. Social. Government. (ESG) scores now. But what do I know? I’m a retro gamer that likes content that’s demotivating for most but fun for people that actually enjoy gaming.
