Oh, the Doom Alpha was the Alpha test for the new Doom game coming out next year. It went on this last weekend. Can’t tell too much about it because of an NDA.
Since the Alpha test took place the same time Shadow Jago came out, I made the decision to stick to mostly playing that while it lasted. So Shago for me is still only level 27 or so. I have no regrets, though.
But just like @ArtemisViiHawke I shall be there soon! Maybe not getting all the achievements or hitting Killer rank, but I’ll still be able to maintain my place in the Max rank 50 club in the near future.
How do you get to be a part of that? Id love to play the new DOOM! Ive been working on Wolfenstien the new Order and I lve that game! Plus Mick Gordon tunes so you cant beat that!

Well Wolfestein:TNO came with Beta keys for Doom when it was young (don’t know if they still come with the keys) and of the people who got the Beta were randomly selected to also be in the Alpha.
Also, Mick’s working on Doom, and the music I’ve heard so far shows it.
I have the digital copy but i recall the disc case having the DOOM beta advertisement…owell…Ill wait for the full release…cant wait!
I think I saw something about how Xbox users and Steam users who bought the digital version of Wolfenstein are already put in to the beta, but I’m not sure. Anyway, its best not to derail this further xP

Man… Some characters are such a grind. I feel like I have to do twice as much with Aganos to get half the points as someone like ARIA. Not sure why that is.
I so feel you right there. I generally like Aganos but I have lots of trouble getting a decent amount of points with him.

im currently using my main profile for killer instinct right now, but on the profile i used to play on for the longer time i got jago and cinder to level 50
You are hardcore. No incentives for me above lvl30. I guess that makes me… softcore? 
or no core?

I was also afraid that including the words hardcore and softcore in a single post would be an instant ban. Or at least censored.
I suppose its a matter of taste. Leveling up characters and unlocking new stuff for them was what kept me going throughout Season 2. Always having new characters to try out and master.
I’d all but stopped playing KI until Shago came out since the thing I enjoyed doing the most was no longer relevant to me since I’d unlocked everything for every character.
I can certainly understand where you’re coming from though. The grind is pretty grueling, and if you’re not there for it I can see why that’d be a pain in the neck.
That would be… Interesting.

I’d say for but people would give me even more funny looks than I already get.

Agreed! Actually the level should be infinite…to show how much time a person ahs put in to a particular character and game.
Only Wulf so far. Everyone else is around 32-35 except the latter half of S2, getting around to starting them now. Hisako, Aria and Cinder are mostly untouched. Doing the achievements simultaneously adds some time I guess.
