No it’s not. Design decisions that you disagree with are not “lazy.” Did I miss the memo that said all whiny gamers are going to use the words “lazy” and “generic” as pejoratives, even when the definitions of the words don’t fit? It took more work to give her shorts than to not give her shorts…
If you believe that the devs were too lazy to leave her bare ■■■ hanging out then there’s no reasoning with you.

The first thing I would just like to say is that I am quite happy with Kim Wu’s retro costume - I even prefer it to the original (KI2)!
The second thing I, as an autistic individual, would like to do is apologize to KI’s artists for the levels of “autism” found in certain posts on threads like these.
I don’t mind change and you’re work is much appreciated! Don’t stop mixing it up!

Def not old school Kim wu she’s has like 0 appeal to her it’s basically just her default without trench coat
I don’t thing it’s just lighting and camera angles. There are some very visible differences in shape. In her retro the nose has a completely different shape, her chin is narrower, her lips are thicker and more heart shaped, also there is more distance between her nose and her mouth. Strangely enough there are also more details on her hair. I bet these are 2 different model.
The face on the retro is either her retro-face or the updated face that will be placed also on the standard model.
I would have loved a blend of the 2. A little cuter but not as fake:P
The colours for her standard outfit are not very eye catching though…
If Capcom and NR can do it so can IG, There’s no excuse.

I like IG’s approach to female characters… cuz it’s not shameless like chun li’s battle costume or DoA bikinis. Sexy but respectable. KI doesn’t need skin to get people to play:)
