Nice job Shadowman. Now why can’t they do this? Instead there giving us two versions of her costumes that are very similar. This is just lazy work in there part.
Moon… don’t expect them to be exact copies. And come on… like I said above, we’re 3 seasons in. Expecting such just hurts yourself. You should know better.

I’m actually glad they didn’t go with her KI2 outfit…the way Orchid stands at the start of a fight, all you would see at the beginning of a fight is her lack of clothing in a certain posterior region. I’d guarantee you the ESRB would be all up in that…

Which just proves you wrong. You’ve done nothing but complaining about it, and the retros are still not exact copies. And no matter how much more you complain, that won’t change.
Face it… the retros are just not meant to be exact copies. And they never will be.
You don’t have to like it, I completely understand if you don’t. But it’s obvious that you’re not going to get your way.

I guess I’m a bit unique in that I generally like the colors on Kim’s default (including with the coat), but those crazy hair colors are really throwing me off. Hoping I like one of her hair accessories so that I can actually use all of her color options - otherwise I’m never touching that green or that blue. Or the yellow. Or the…
Liking the retros a lot though. Interesting that the default kneepads carried over. I think it looks better and allows for some sweet color combinations (that black and white! 
); always kind of interesting to see which elements the team decides to keep or revamp within the individual retros 
But as @Dancovich says, it isn’t a pure recreation, so you kind of saw the “backlash” coming ahead of time. While I’m generally annoyed with retro bashing (to the point I secretly root for small inconsistencies just to ■■■■ those people off), it is generally undeniable that small things within the retros tend to change. I really think that by this point though people should be ready for them - the devs confirmed months ago for instance that Kim’s retro would use shorts instead of the KI2 thong. You have a right to be mad about that I guess, but you can’t say you were blindsided.

Says who? Do you have any source to the devs having said this? Or is that just your own opinion?
Because as far as I know, then the devs have never stated such.
Kim Wu has always been the stereotypical Asian Kung Fu girl, and they all pretty much look alike, with a few differences here and there. It’s an archetype that’s heavily used in fighting games.
